I own the Gucci belt and I don’t care how many people own it. If I like it, I buy it and I wear it. A million women run around with long hair (trendy these days) and that’s perfectly. I don’t have to stand out and shave my head bald just to be different. I think there are fashionable things a woman can do to show her own unique style, like your Chanel pin video for example (loved that video). But I’m just not concerned about what others are wearing. If the entire planet wears Gucci, I will wear it if I love it, it’s well made, and it looks good on me. You rocked your Gucci belt btw. 🥰

Sima Lyn I bought the Gucci belt 4 years ago and regret sooo much everyone has it That’s the problem with Gucci and Italian luxury designers in general , it’s always trend everyone ends up having (also Italian brands price is always more affordable than french ) and the trend goes. Y and you end up with a stuff you won’t wear I stopped buying Italian luxury brands I prefer to stick on the real staples at least if you want to sell them you still can get your money back

Not understanding your main point because all the designer or popular things everyone has and you see. For example everyone has your night stand, headboard, flowers, insense sticks, etc. You would have to get rid of most of your things.
Everyone wants Chanel bags, LV neverfulls, etc. and I see them every turn of my head. Any popular item becomes more popular is partially due too youtubers, bloggers. If you have a fav item and you dont want your viewers and subcribers to purchase because of your reviews and might make it sooo popular together bringing more traffic to your channel then perhaps you should not post your high positive reviews as the item might be over saturated and you might have to get rid of it not because it doesnt work for you no more but because everyone has it

I was interested in the Gucci belt until I knew a girl that really wanted it too. From what she told me it was almost impossible to get it. She had to wait 6 weeks to have it shipped to her/the store. I don't buy designer items often so maybe thats common but if I have to wait that long and pay that much for something a lot of people own it just dosen't seem worth it. I do love accessories but I guess Ill stick to my cowgirl belt lol 🤠

Balenciaga chunky shoes 5. Fila chunky shoes Also, I noticed that the 90's style is back and I always liked it, but for me it's such a turn off to see that everybody wear the same things. Same with the army style. I loved it since childhood and I can't anymore with all this people who wear it.

I love discovering luxury youtubers in Toronto! I recently purchased the Valentino spike bag - but I got it in the small 1. Because I got it in a metallic leather and wanted to use as an evening clutch/bag and 2. I didn’t purchase a medium because of the structure and the fact that I have other bags that serve the same size. The small doesn’t flop around nearly as much. But you’re right, the studs are gorgeous! I did consider the Gucci belt- but belts never flattered me. Maybe if I used as a waist defined over a dress, but that’s about it.

Agree with your assessment of most but I am a huge fan of the Valentino rockstud bag since it is so comfy and goes with everything! I think you would feel differently if you sized down from what you had. No issues with mine at all but it's the smaller version (not the smallest).

I LOVE my Gucci belt and I swear to you, I have never seen ANYONE I know in person with a Gucci belt. I have seen it on instagram, for sure. I have seen it when I go to the expensive mall here where rich people shop at Gucci and Valentino, for sure. But NO ONE I personally know has ever worn such a belt. And even if they do: I think the belt is very classy and timeless. It puts together EVERY outfit and it's my all time favorite item in my dresser

However nice the gucci belt may look now, I know that gucci will change their logo again in a few years and then the belt will look awfully dated (like the older belts now). I bought the Gucci belt. Hardly ever wear it. Love my Gucci slides! They are so comfy.. also bought the Hermes sandals in white. I do love them but they are not a hardy, full of support sandal, so I dont wear them all the time. No offense taken. I also just purchased the LV boite souple round bag. again, it was not meant to be personal. I mentioned in the video I actually like ALL of the items I talked about, but they just didn't work out for me for one reason or the other. if they work for you, great! as long as you enjoy them, that's all that matters
none of the popular designer pieces are unique. I have the Gucci slides and Hermes sandals and I love them but I didnt buy them because they are unique. I liked the style and quality of these shoes. and have been using them for years now.
Hi Niki. Yes, I agree about those slides. Terrible and very unflattering. I think the initial necklace is too much, not delicate enough for my taste. I have a very small and short pendant necklace from Kate Spade with an "A" on it. That is about all I want in an initial necklace. The Gucci belt is OK, I have a Micheal Kors one that I wear all the time, it is reversible and practical. I do not need a studded pink and gold bag that screams at everyone, "look at me" I have too much money and I do not know what to do with it. I like quiet tailored outfits that reads, classic and refined.
Omg I feel the same way about the belt!! I literally tried ordering it minimum 10x online and idk wtf but they weren't able to verify the million diff credit cards I tried using! I finally just gave up and bought the belt from Amazon for 12.99 that is black with the gold rings, which honestly I'm happy with... so bitter about Gucci but grateful for saving that money lol :)

I really used to love them when they came out, I thought they were a fresh take on something classic like pearl earrings, but then - a few months later, they were literally everywhere (or, at least, dupes were everywhere ...) ... The Gucci slides are ugly - have u seen the ones with the fur ⁉️😖. Also NEVER understood why young women like the Hermes granny 👵🏻 slides and Chanel espadrilles. Hermes have other nicer sandals that are more age appropriate. I feel they’re only bought because of the hype.
I own the spike bag in medium. Didn't have that issue but maybe Because it is smaller than the big one and I'm OCD with my bags so I always keep them stuff with air paper when not in use so they don't lose their shape

LOL! Niki, you had me cracking up. I would never buy retail designer because I don't have the money for it. I have found some clothing items while thrifting but it was the style I bought it for and $10 or below price. I have made the mistake and bought the version of the flat heel out loafer and I too have thick muscular legs and have some regrets. I know that I like the idea of a slip on shoe that does not show my toes because I rarely have them painted and I can get away with it in these type shoes. Just hope they are comfortable to walk in (my poor pinkies don't yell at me to let them out). Tee Hee When the season change it like your feet have to get use to wearing a different type of shoe each year. Winter they are all closed up with cushy socks and protective fabric and it could feel a little tight because they been free all Spring/Summer and were able to spread out and get rub in area where they first felt violated (thong sandal can be a bit irritating). The belt with someone else initial did not make since to me, so I was not attracted to it. Thanks for sharing and continued blessing in 2019.
Instagram influencers are NOT EVRYBODY. They are a small, and unimportant group of people. If everyone in the street is wearing what you are, then maybe you should think about it...although I often wear what everyone else is wearing...like North Face, or Nike, or Levi. AND SO WHAT? OMG what a timely video! I been debating to purchase the Signature Web canvas Gucci belt but been going back and forth on the decision as I like the Salvatore Ferragamo Reversible Gancini Calfskin Leather Belt. It's a two-tone belt so its like you get two belts in one. I went to the Ferragamo store and they hardly change their logo so definitely a classic. The double Gs for Gucci has not been around forever so they may change their logo again. Anyways thank you for the video I am leaning towards the SF belt now :-)

I did consider the Gucci belt- but belts never flattered me. Maybe if I used as a waist defined over a dress, but that’s about it.

Lol on grandfather getting the slides at the Dollar store! I totally agree with you on all of these. Hate overdone fashion and lack of any individuality. Best dresser I know is my buddy who is from Finland. She comes up with the classiest most wild, unique outfits and she wears them with confidence; They look amazing every time. She just knows how to put shit together.
Agree with your assessment of most but I am a huge fan of the Valentino rockstud bag since it is so comfy and goes with everything! I think you would feel differently if you sized down from what you had. No issues with mine at all but it's the smaller version (not the smallest).

I LOVE my Gucci belt and I swear to you, I have never seen ANYONE I know in person with a Gucci belt. I have seen it on instagram, for sure. I have seen it when I go to the expensive mall here where rich people shop at Gucci and Valentino, for sure. But NO ONE I personally know has ever worn such a belt. And even if they do: I think the belt is very classy and timeless. It puts together EVERY outfit and it's my all time favorite item in my dresser

I agree so much on the gucci belt and valentino bag but for other reasons. However nice the gucci belt may look now, I know that gucci will change their logo again in a few years and then the belt will look awfully dated (like the older belts now). And the valentino bag....I think it looks atrocious. In fact tacky af, lol! There's just too much of everything going on and I have yet to see it styled where it doesn't look just that..tacky.

Wooohoo! Someone else not into the Gucci belt. I’ve concluded I can’t be into high end fashion or shoes, because it only looks good on pretty, thin people, not people like...me. Thus, I’ve stuck to handbags and SLGs. Sometimes I get sad seeing people hem and haw over this belt that I can’t pull off, so it’s heart warming to see someone say nay nay!

I bought the Gucci belt. Hardly ever wear it. Love my Gucci slides! They are so comfy.. also bought the Hermes sandals in white. I do love them but they are not a hardy, full of support sandal, so I dont wear them all the time. No offense taken. I also just purchased the LV boite souple round bag. I don’t know if that was such a good idea🙄 but it is super cute,😄!

none of the popular designer pieces are unique. I have the Gucci slides and Hermes sandals and I love them but I didnt buy them because they are unique. I liked the style and quality of these shoes. and have been using them for years now.

Hi Niki. Yes, I agree about those slides. Terrible and very unflattering. I think the initial necklace is too much, not delicate enough for my taste. I have a very small and short pendant necklace from Kate Spade with an "A" on it. That is about all I want in an initial necklace. The Gucci belt is OK, I have a Micheal Kors one that I wear all the time, it is reversible and practical. I do not need a studded pink and gold bag that screams at everyone, "look at me" I have too much money and I do not know what to do with it. I like quiet tailored outfits that reads, classic and refined.
Omg I feel the same way about the belt!! I literally tried ordering it minimum 10x online and idk wtf but they weren't able to verify the million diff credit cards I tried using! I finally just gave up and bought the belt from Amazon for 12.99 that is black with the gold rings, which honestly I'm happy with... so bitter about Gucci but grateful for saving that money lol :)

I really used to love them when they came out, I thought they were a fresh take on something classic like pearl earrings, but then - a few months later, they were literally everywhere (or, at least, dupes were everywhere ...) ... I still think they are pretty, but seeing them on every girl around made them look less special to me, and not worth their price

The Gucci slides are ugly - have u seen the ones with the fur ⁉️😖. Also NEVER understood why young women like the Hermes granny 👵🏻 slides and Chanel espadrilles. Hermes have other nicer sandals that are more age appropriate. I feel they’re only bought because of the hype.
I own the spike bag in medium. Didn't have that issue but maybe Because it is smaller than the big one and I'm OCD with my bags so I always keep them stuff with air paper when not in use so they don't lose their shape
I think the smaller ones don't have the issue with the gapping in the middle! i wish I went with the smaller one but it wasn't available at the time :(

Anything that is seen everywhere on everyone is something I dislike such as the LV NF. It takes away from the luxury aspect of the item. If its an affordable and amazing item then its understandable but not in designer products.

LOL! Niki, you had me cracking up. I would never buy retail designer because I don't have the money for it. I have found some clothing items while thrifting but it was the style I bought it for and $10 or below price. I have made the mistake and bought the version of the flat heel out loafer and I too have thick muscular legs and have some regrets. I know that I like the idea of a slip on shoe that does not show my toes because I rarely have them painted and I can get away with it in these type shoes. Just hope they are comfortable to walk in (my poor pinkies don't yell at me to let them out). Tee Hee When the season change it like your feet have to get use to wearing a different type of shoe each year. Winter they are all closed up with cushy socks and protective fabric and it could feel a little tight because they been free all Spring/Summer and were able to spread out and get rub in area where they first felt violated (thong sandal can be a bit irritating). The belt with someone else initial did not make since to me, so I was not attracted to it. Thanks for sharing and continued blessing in 2019.
Instagram influencers are NOT EVRYBODY. They are a small, and unimportant group of people. If everyone in the street is wearing what you are, then maybe you should think about it...although I often wear what everyone else is wearing...like North Face, or Nike, or Levi. AND SO WHAT? Are you really that insecure? If you don't like it, that I understand. But who cares about some idiots on Instagram. Not that many people could tell you three items popular with Instagram "influencers". They don't influence anyone....except apparently to stop doing anything they do.

Well... your legs look really skinny and not muscular like you say in pictures, maybe not in person? but I do have thick legs and have the Gucci loafers, they look AWESOME. we make the items, the item doesn't make us. Also, if you like to BE unique or own unique things ONLY, then maybe those trendy triangular sunglasses you wear are not the best choice, or the YSL heels, or the LV travel bag... just a couple observations ;)
I always mix and match my style. some of it is trendy, some of it is classic, some of it is unique. regardless, I always make it 100% my own
OMG what a timely video! I been debating to purchase the Signature Web canvas Gucci belt but been going back and forth on the decision as I like the Salvatore Ferragamo Reversible Gancini Calfskin Leather Belt. It's a two-tone belt so its like you get two belts in one.
I went to the Ferragamo store and they hardly change their logo so definitely a classic. The double Gs for Gucci has not been around forever so they may change their logo again. Anyways thank you for the video I am leaning towards the SF belt now :-)
