I lived in Japan in the late 1960's. My father was in the military and that gave our family the chance to learn about other cultures. When I first noticed your "origami " style art of "folds" and "sewing" is when you had a tutorial on making the face mask for protection of Covid 19 protection using a plate to trace around and cut out followed by pressing in folds! Once I made one, I continue making them! You offer a lot to your viewers and I still am so amazed! Continue sharing your various forms of unique 🎨 ART. May God Bless 🙌 You!

Good morning Vivian. You know how I love these basket tutorials! This one is so cute I can't wait to get started on it. My craft room is filled up with all kinds of stuff because we've been hoping to move so I've been using the kitchen table area and it's covered with sewing supplies. I keep thinking about how the boys are doing today; it's like a little adventure for them getting used to a new school and teacher. They don't realize that mama is home nervously waiting. It must be hard for you to concentrate on other things, waiting to go pick them up and hear about their day. You are such a good mom and all kids should be so blessed.
Well, sis, I'm going to go put on some coffee and start cutting out my fabric and interfacing for this basket.

I had a piece of material w coffee cups on it and wanted to make something and this was it. The colors were cream w black cups traced and writing. I used a small plaid of brown and black for other color. I love it. Tysm for showing us. Lois

Love your tutorials, never too long, saves having to pause it numerous times. I made this lovely basket and have made similar ones with and without handles. I also cut out a square of cardboard to fit the bottom then covered it with the lining fabric and popped it in which made it sturdier. Look forward to making more things.
