Finally someone reacting to this! There's something so calming and otherworldly almost about this song. Arguably my favorite from them. Such an experience.
Otherworldly is the word that always comes to mind with Sleep Token, even when the lyrical content is about something so familiar and human. I have no doubt it’s intentional and it’s quite an achievement.
To truly understand this underrated masterpiece of a band you must go down the rabbit hole of 1 & 2... The beginning, Nazareth and When the Bough Breaks are both equally amazing. Fightstar has to be a key influence of this band
One of the few bands where even their EPs are gold. I think their very first release I didn't really get into but literally everything past that is a jam and a half
In retrospect, I'm just realizing how unique this song was in their discography. This was the song that got me hooked on them, so i never questioned it. I had no context. Two records later and now that we also have Euclid, I see the contrast. I'm actually so glad i started when/where i did. Got dammit i love this band.
I know that it's already on Patreon, but PLEASE upload your reaction to The Offering on your UA-cam channel. I'm so surprised it's taken you this long to hear that song.
george lever was the producer for sundowning and this place will become your tomb, i think vessel recorded most of the songs on sundowning and the 2 EPs himself
For me this song completely reminds me of Bon Iver… and that’s a great thing. Very Imogene heap/ Bon iver vibes. The silence in between lyrics in the middle section always gets me.

Would definitely love to see a One/Two EP reaction gang🔥
One of my favorite albums of all-time. Of any time or genre. So much versatility, atmosphere, power, and lyrics. Love every track
Fall for me off their second album is basically a sequel to Imogen Heaps “Hide and seek” which you referenced!

Their first release is some of their best work imo
Sundowning really helped me move past my kratom addiction. So ambient, so emotive. I love it.
Absolutely obsessed with this song!

Like all the instruments? or he wrote all of it and the other guys recording it.
@@suumpi6843 vessel writes some of the music, he writes the lyrics and plays all the instruments, excluding the drums on the albums
This band is such a journey...

The night does not belong to God is the best first song on a album period
This is the single greatest opening song on an album, the only other that comes close is All the Love in the World - NIN
YEEEEEEEEEEESSSS PTB!!!!!!!

Oooooo ... agreed. I remember being reminded of NIN when I first heard ST
