This seems like the best place for the series to have gone, and yet is also a pleasant surprise. It also seems like a really just solid, well thought out title that maintains what made the old games good. I’m optimistic.

This is the most interesting skateboarding game I've ever seen! It doesn't try to be realistic like all the other ones I've seen do and actually makes the game feel like a breath of fresh air

Loving the new art style and environments for the series reminds me of Runner 2&3 with the deep detailed backgrounds and the expanded gameplay seem like a lot of fun. Glad this series is back.
They should definitely make Finn and Jake skins for this!

I saw the other trailer and though the "adventure time" style was only on the cutscenes. This is amazing!
This just makes me want a 3d version in this style with this humour and the free flowing combos. I picture like an open environment with sunset overdrive insanity, non stop flow
Seriously, can we just have this series take more inspiration from Sunset Overdrive and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater? It's the natural endpoint.

I always had a skeptic view of the Olli Olli/ Switch Stance combo, but after I got it on sale, I got my monies worth, and the full price would've been worth it. One of those games I didn't expect to enjoy as much as I actually do. After almost finishing 1 and ready to start 2, I'm quite excited for this release.
I have had it on my Switch for a while and had been looking for a game that I could play on my Switch during my lunch breaks so I downloaded it and I've been hooked on the first one since yesterday. I spent till 3 in the morning completing Amateur and Pro goals in the first area.
It seems the later games borrowed some of the concepts in the THPS series and implemented in their future titles like wall rides and manuals.
The colorful visuals of this next game have me hooked. Can't wait till its out

That depends on preference. I'm getting it on Switch for portability.

LOOK HOW FAR THEY'VE COME. I wish we could get more games like this for rollerskaters. (Ik jet set radio exists but it's outdated and janky)
If you're interested, Bomb Rush Cyberfunk (modern spiritual successor to JSR) and Solar Ash both use rollerskating mechanics

It is! It’s actually a collective of artists the majority come from Cascade records. But they all bring the same kind of “Chillhop” vibes. It’s spectacular!
