@@johnathoncastro Truth is that neighbors dont have that sensitive taste. And everyone has a different taste. For example, Allesio and Jessi love PROSSECO, me to, is deliciouse, amazing wine but my brother hate this wine, for him is disgusting.
This is great that they dont waste food and give this for his neighbor. If you grow up and eat food like this so often, this is tasty for you. And plus you have added some seasonings, pepper, salt garlic etc in home ande improve taste for better. Alessio and Jessi are the cutes, nicest and sweet couple ever. They are axample what marriage should looks like. They realy love each others. You can see this everytome when loking at each otchers.

I agree about the fried macaroni, and it was nice to see Jessie re-enjoy her childhood birthday pasta. Id love to see Alessio eat one of their HUGE salads. Back in the day we'd order the macaroni app split a salad, and eat cheesecake. No idea what happened to the cheesecake.

    • @LindaC616

That was the first place that made me pass on French fries with no difficulty. They used to use the stringy French fries, and they would give you a pound. I could pass on those. Now that they've switched them up, it's harder. So what I've done the last few times I've gone (and I only go about once every two years) is find the colleague who wants a bit of salad. I order the skinnylicious turkey burger (which comes with salad), and they order something with fries. We share the fries and salad with each other. That way, I get a few good fries, but I don't have to worry about too many calories. And everyone gets cheesecake. I love watching people's faces when they see the cheesecake case at the front of the restaurant and the list of all of the flavors available

Coming from an Italian family everyone had their own take on their sauces. To me they were all good. Now that I am older I find myself saying the same things my dad use to say about Italian food. 😅 When I make pasta dishes for friends at work they love it. There are a fair number of other fairly authentic Italian places around town - not just on the Hill, and if you try only one, I suggest Vito's. It's over bly St. Louis University / near downtown. But it seems like everyone who works there is family, from the tiny aggressive nona working the reservations and host station to the bus-boys. They serve arancini and some of the best pizzas I've had in America. Chilled water with no ice!

Hi. I love the food reviews. You’re both such a good team. I’m a relatively new subscriber, and only recently saw a few of your videos from New York. In your episode looking for the best cannoli, you visited Carroll Gardens in Brooklyn. I lived in Carroll Gardens from 1986 through 2003. When I lived there, Mazolla Bakery only made bread and some cookies. If you ever go back, what you need to try is their lard bread. I don’t know if that’s a thing from Italy, but it is a big thing with New York Italians, and Mazzola makes one of the best. As for pizza, Alessio needs to try Sam’s Pizza on Court Street in Brooklyn. Look it up in Yelp and the pictures will speak for themselves. They use a plain tomato sauce, the best cheese, and have all kinds of toppings to choose from. Nothing real fancy, but the brick oven can’t be beat. As far as the bakeries there go, I used to always get my pastries at Monteleone’s. One of my best friends from that neighborhood was related to the Caputo family who owned Caputo’s Bakery, but they were better known for their bread and their breakfast pastry. One thing about the bakeries in Carroll Gardens is that each one uses a predominate spice in their pastries. One always smelled and tasted of almond paste, one had cinnamon in everything and one had anise in everything. It was an interesting little quirk.
Now, I just want to say that my favorite Italian dessert is zabaglione, and the Marco Polo restaurant on Court Street in Brooklyn makes it table side. I’ve never heard either of you mention zabaglione, so is that another thing invented by New York Italians that is not known in Italy? Just curious.
My family is originally from eastern Tennessee and Bristol, Virginia. My father was in the Air Force, and the place I lived the longest was Brooklyn. My main way of making a living in New York was as a paralegal at a talent agency, but I was also an opera singer. My main second language is French, but I have a working knowledge of Italian from singing in operas. I now live in Rapid City, SD, which is a wasteland as far as Italian food goes. We have sad pizza here, and while Sabatino’s Restaurant is doing well, it’s expensive and loud, and the pasta is fancy. We do have an Olive Garden here, and I usually have the shrimp scampi there. It is a light lemon sauce with shrimp and asparagus tossed in angel hair pasta, which they surprisingly don’t overcook like they do their spaghetti. I have a feeling it’s because they have to cook the angel hair on order because if you partially cook it beforehand, it will disintegrate if it’s put in the water a second time. Hope this isn’t too long for you to read. Seriously, though, keep my suggestions in mind if you go to New York again. Thanks for the good times. Jill (I’m called by middle name).

My favorite dish there is the crusted chicken ramano, but I ask for it in Alfredo sauce instead of marinara. I had an employee recommend this to me one time and I've never changed my order since. It's essentially flattened breaded chicken breast served with spaghetti

You should've pointed the problem out to the server. I ordered a dish I thought I'd like took two bites and asked to replace because the seasoning didn't taste good. They happily did so and the manager came and checked if the replacement was better.

The lightest cheesecake at the Cheesecake Factory is the vanilla bean cheesecake it’s lighter and more whipped. And also in the chocolate the Godiva chocolate cheesecake is again very light on the menu also the Godiva brownie awesome some of the cheesecakes with cake is also very good ! Enjoy there’s a lot on the menu to try I just seem to eat my favorites every-time so there’s the whole menu left lol

The Cheesecake Factory was my favorite restaurant, but sadly I moved and there is not one around me. The chicken parmesan pizza was the worst thing I've ever had from there. I couldn't even make myself eat the leftovers I brought home. The pineapple upside down cheesecake is my favorite! Pineapple upside down cake is nostalgic for me because my grandma always made it when I was a kid.

I had the pineapple upside down cheesecake last time! I usually get something Much heavier with peanut butter or chocolate, but the P.U.C. was fantastic! It was lighter and brighter than most Factory options!!

@@dananegron that's usually what I prefer too, although the Craig's crazy carrot cake is way too rich and that has cake in it. Same with one of the chocolate peanut butter ones. The last few times I have gone, (and it has been a couple of years since I went since it's an hour from me), I ordered the chocolate hazelnut crunch cheesecake. It's excellent.

WHY do I LOVE LOVE LOVE you guys?? It's because you have SO MUCH FUN when you do anything with food together ! I have NEVER BEEN to a Cheesecake Factory, but now I want to drive 20 miles with a friend and have just what you two ordered. But, of course, I won't have as much fun as you two do when you go anywhere out to eat in the USA or Italy. By the way, I'm already 20 pounds overweight according to my doctor, who advises me to limit the carbs and fats and red meats, but at my age, (over 70) I need to LIVE at least A LITTLE, once in a while!

I guess you could think of this place. Kind of like a buffet. Everyone knows when you go to a buffet you usually pay a fair price and get very low quality food. But you get a lot of it. Here The kicker is that they have a huge menu. It doesn't necessarily mean that everything is good, they just have a lot of stuff
