Thanks for sharing this! I always love your videos Wendy! The Saltbox freebies were so cute! Oh wow the dragon scale crochet is amazing! Love the teal house you started by LindyStitches! JOY. we all need more joy.
The cat and dragon stitches - wow. It would take me forever! You did a great job editing! Loved seeing the knitting and crochet. Lots of great stuff - thanks for sharing everything!
It was so interesting to hear about your experience with Song Sparrows! Wow. How fortunate that you got to participate in that! And thanks for sharing the story about that knitted blanket! It's beautiful..... ♥ Joy! Yes!
Wendy! I love learning that you spent time in Baltimore! 💜🖤 And thank you for going easy on us this week with Revenge Patterns, The Mercy Edition. Phew!
We have a pair of mallard ducks that have been returning every year since my children were young. Our yard has significant wetlands…And my kids named them Fred and Ethel. Thanks for all the freebies. Great for my self imposed no buy Jan. Oh that knitted blanket is so fun ❤
Great ending and opening to your flosstube. Thanks for those words. I found joy in finding a singer treadle sewing machine at a yard sale. It needs some work that I will be doing when it warms up and I can work outside. I’ve always wanted one and can’t believe I found it for $40 and some future work by me. Happy stitching and looking forward to your next flosstube!
You are such a treasure. I LOVE that you changed the Santa quote to “Santa is for everyone,” that makes me so happy! Amity’a new patterns are AMAZING. I’m a huge Charley Harper fan as well, and I’m absolutely stitching at least one of her new patterns.
Thanks for the mention, and I'm still so thrilled you love those patterns! The sleepover one held so many fond memories for me as I was painting and designing it so I'm glad you and your husband both enjoy it 🖤
Hi lovie! Thank you for sharing the MLK quote. I had not heard it either ♥️ As always, I love every single one of your projects! 🤩 I can also relate to having a cross stitch related existential crisis 😬 it’s like the years keep going, but the projects stay the same 🫣 😅 Thank you for taking mercy on us, and for taking the time to look up all of those freebies! I loved seeing the knitted blanket. Your cowl is going to be beautiful! My yarn has been calling to me lately for the first time in a long time ♥️Thank you for keeping me company while I worked on Mary Clare Carroll 1738, and for giving me some joy today! Hugs!
Hi Megan! Thanks for coming back! 🙂 That MLK quote really got me though yesterday. He was something special. I'm so exciting to have my knitting/crochet bug back - I hadn't touched yarn in several years! Yes - get your yarn out too! ❤
Jumping spiders are so cute! The first time I ever saw one was in my house in Maryland about 3 years ago when I was packing up my kitchen as we were moving. It looked like it was watching means would then jump sideways. Now I have to go and get that pattern! Maybe you can do your next stitching zoom with a spider theme! 😁
Thank you for sharing those f.r.e.e. patterns! …and I love conversation hearts, too! (a little trivia for ya: when the company is not making the hearts, they make the very similar Necco wafers!)
enjoyed your knitted blanket very much... and btw I have always used a knot when crocheting... I use a sheet bend knot, which gets so so tiny when you pull it together. stays put even through the washer and dryer. also called weavers knot, but we are boaters, so that's what I call it. Best wishes, and I so enjoy your videos. xoxo P.S. I use waste knots frequently in cross stitch... holdover from my needlepointing I suppose. Great for starting in new territory when using single strands. and wow your "scales" scarf is perfect for that yarn.
Hi Wendy, wonderful flosstube as always - lovely stitching, great tips, thoughtful words and lots of giggles so thank you for sharing your time with us. Totally appreciated. And we have Conversation Hearts here in the UK but they're called Love Hearts. And they're available all year round.... Just saying.....😊 Love your pigeon pattern collection - I seem to be drawn to bird designs too but particularly corvids, so crows, ravens and magpies. In fact I decided to have a year-of-the-crow-challenge-myself-stitch-a-long for 2025 to see how many of the thirty odd patterns I have in stash I can stitch. And I've got a long list of others to buy if I run out.... Happy stitching! Kim ❤
What a great idea for your crow stitching! I love all the corvids - they're so smart!! I'm so jealous you have hearts all year round. LOL In fact, all of your candy is so much better than ours. I used to work with a guy from England and he'd visit home a lot and bring us back amazing candy of all kinds.
I also read that MLK quote yesterday…really helped. Want to know what also helped? Buying, kitting up and starting City Lights! Was stitching on it while watching you! I’ve had the Bert song from Sesame Street in my head “Doing the pigeon” while stitching. Love your words of wisdom at the end. -Dina
Wendy, love your flosstube! I usually laugh out loud through the whole thing! And BTW, did you know that Taylor Owen lives in Baltimore? I think you mentioned you had lived there, and didn’t know if you knew that.
"He has some weird opinions about women" is definitely the mood of the day. Thanks again for the little distraction from current events xD and for all the freebie recommendations!
Ha, ha! Sorry, we do love Liam Neeson - his acting was great! But my husband was a truck driver for many years, and so much of the trucking stuff was physically impossible. It was driving us crazy. LOL The real ice road is fascinating and scary enough without all the shenanigans the writers made up. It was entertaining though!

Thank you. I needed to hear your messages tonight.
Oh, and I love the cross-stitch talk, too!
Love the fact our enabling got a mention😂
I'm enjoying being able to blame someone else for my shopping addiction!

That's so awesome! Those machines are indestructible! Once you get it running, it'll probably last another century! 🙂

Thanks! I'm glad someone "gets it" about those words. 🙂 No one gets to gatekeep Santa!
damn woman I just love you! Leaving us with tips on vanquishing our enemies! SLAY QUEEN!
Ha, ha, ha! Just when you thought I was so nice and sweet. 🙂 We ride at dawn!
Thank you once again for entertaining me and making me laugh!
Thanks for watching! 🙂

@@thewitchywoman You're very welcome! I picked out fabric for the 90s pattern tonight. 😊

Omg I made a crocodile baby blanket over ten years ago it was a yarn eater but so worth it
I now feel spoilt lol, we in the UK have those sweets all year round, also we call them love hearts here
Oh, I'm jealous now! I just finished my last bag today and my teeth hurt. ha, ha ha!
I ❤ your flosstubes!
Thanks so much! 🙂
I needed you to show up in my feed today and I so needed to hear the MLK quote❤
I'm so glad! ❤ That quote REALLY helped me get through yesterday, too.

I used to say I wish jumping spiders got really big so we could hug them, but probably not many people would agree with me. ha, ha!

Thanks for watching! I forgot about the Necco wafers - I should go look for those....or not, if I want to make my dentist happy. ha, ha!

Thanks so much! I'm going to look that knot up - I was wondering how they were so perfect, with no little tails.

@@paintbrushpuke Ha ha! Thanks! I'm still pleasantly surprised that anyone wants to come back for more. 😄
@paintbrushpuke LOL right? Filming was a great way to distract myself too. We'll get through this - we outnumber the haters!
Another great video Wendy! These Flosstube videos are great distraction from all the BS that's going on in this world.
not you bashing one of my favorite liam neesom movies!😭 ICE ROAD FOREVER!
