Congrats on your finishes and progress on your stitching. What a beautiful idea you shared with us to honour someone special in our lives. Your Mum sounds like such a lovely person and so are you. You bring joy with your videos and always a smile to my face. 🥰
I just love your channel. It's chock full of fun and info and good thoughts and very interesting projects! The Revenge segment is spot on, hahahaha! Stop it! Thanks for continuing to do this. ❤
I made a scrapbook for my daughter when she was 16 (she's 24 now). It's a cookbook. I filled it with family recipes. I went one step further and had members of our family hand write the recipes. So she has recipes from great grandparents (who have since deceased) to siblings, all hand written with others thrown in to fill the pages. Almost all are recipes that have been passed down from both sides of the family. It was hard because her father and I are divorced, but her fathers family was very good about getting me recipes. She uses it all the time and adds to it. Unique scrapbooks are a great gift idea.
I don't know about you but I miss the old Instagram before Facebook got their hands on it. Way too many features now. Love seeing the progress of the duck stitch. Project Linus does take quilts. They have specific sizes on their website. It's still hot here so I suppose you could be swimming and watching flosstube. 😆Thanks for sharing all the fun stuff!
Yeah, Instagram really ruined the hashtags and took a lot of the fun out of it. I had hoped they'd get a clue and fix it by now. Darn it! I can't wait until I have a new computer and can finally edit out the dumb random stuff I say. ha, ha, ha! Although maybe those are the best parts! 😂
Wow those tiny finishes in the clear keyring thing (lol words are hard) look incredible!! Seriously they look so awesome! Your knitting cowl looks great so far! How fun. I want to learn how to knit... maybe I need some lessons with Wendy! :). Thanks for sharing again and making me laugh :)
Good Morning! The 6am start for our meetup means I might be out of PJs by the time we start :) I signed up for the Jingle Ball this morning! You make it sound like so much fun, so I have to take part. Not doing any classes, but I will have to save up for the market... Loved seeing your stitchy progress and that you showed off Unconventional x-stitch. I started one yesterday since there's now a SAL going. Your horror story at the start sounds like the kind of thing I would do, so now I'm scared.
Hi Helen! Yay! I'm glad you're signed up for the Jingle Ball! It was so much fun last year. My car has that feature that lets you connect your cell phone and I refuse to hook it up. Once, my husband's car accidentally called a random contact in his phone while we were driving and we couldn't get it to hang up. He had to pretend he'd called the guy on purpose. ha, ha, ha! Now I'm afraid to ever use that feature. 😆 See you next week at our meetup!
@@MatrixStitcher it is okay. I live on top of a mountain so no flooding. We have a lot of trees on our property that were pulled up by the roots but our home held up good. Our power was out for a week and our internet for a week and a half. The worst damage is about an hour from me in all directions.

Oh my god I’m cackling! I love your videos! New fear unlocked for sure

That's such a great idea! I'm always on the lookout for those old church cookbooks, too. Tried and true family recipes are the BEST.
I have found my tribe….thank you for brightening my day. Now I’m off to visit the flosstube that you recommended ❤
Thanks so much!

YES! Knitting is so fun and portable too. I'm always trying to trick my husband into learning to knit but he's eluded me so far. LOL

It was the mountains of North Carolina, my area.
Oh gosh, I totally messed that up, didn't I? Sorry about that! I hope you and yours are safe and well!

I didn't need to see all those unconventionalxstitch patterns i already bought 4 in the last few weeks.
LOL There are so many good ones! There's still quite a few I want, but I'm just not going to live long enough to stitch them all. 🙂
@@MatrixStitcher i don't think I'll live long enough to stitch everything i already own but i still want them lol
