We have seen Miku as a child, a teenager, and even literally as a senior citizen, in each song Miku is a totally different person. It's not so hard to think that the Miku in this song is an adult woman. I'm totally against the sexualization of minors on the internet, but come on, in this song you can tell that Deco*27/Caststation never portrayed Miku as a minor (she doesn't even look like one), and yes, the character is Miku.
Also, It's not the first time a Vocaloid producer makes a mature song with Miku or any other voicebank, don't act surprised.
At the end of the day Miku is everyone's OC. She can be absolutely anything because there is a fandom that transforms her into everything, without the fandom she would be just a blank character, just a flat singing-synthesizer mascot.

Vocaloid is intended to be a cheaper alternative to hiring real singers. The voicebanks and mascots do not have canon traits in order to give creators full creative freedom to make whatever they want. Miku can literally be whatever you want.
Of course, this is like a double-edged sword since some people do make questionable content, but this is not the case in this example. It is heavily implied through the context of the lyrics that miku is 18+
She is also not being infantslized or very obviously made to look younger in the art. I feel like all it takes is using our media literacy skills to determine whether or not 18+ Vocaloid content is being made responsibly or not.
@@thegamersoftilbilly I wouldn't really say she has a "canonical" look or age. It's more like a default look that was litteraly made to be altered by creators. Creators are supposed to have full creative freedom with both the mascots and voicebanks.

Miku is always designed to be pretty. I understand that there’s supposed to be creative liberty with her and that I feel like if if someone were to make art of her in which she looks more grown up and say that this is Miku as an adult, I feel like that’s more acceptable but DECO just uses Miku as she is. Also a lot of comments have said this isn’t Miku but another character based off her since the song is FT Miku.
Either way, her canon age is 16. I disagree with all sexualization art of Miku unless it’s stated that she is an adult in these renditions. It’s just wrong and I will NOT be on a list.

I had this black-colored clay that I loved to sculpt as a kid to make little dark figures out of the blob. My favorite one I made was my Pokémon one, and I always smushed it back up after I was done to make a new figure. One day, my mother made me throw it away bc she thought it was a waste of space. HATSUNE MIKU IS A VOICE BOX. SHE CAN BE WHATEVER YOU WANT HER TO BE. You want her to be a fridge? SHE'LL BE A FRIDGE. You want her to be 2,000 years old? She will be!
This version of Miku is 18+. She's not a minor in THIS VERSION. IT IS NOT PURE PURE.
