I had BestBuy install my amp an they ran the power wire through that one lil spot on the firewall without the insulation @ 0:39 in, an they did silicone it as well.
Truck has a warranty on it, so I was not going to void it by doing it myself!~

Good video I do have one question on my wire harness on the driver side I do have the rubber nipple like the passenger it it better to use that then cutting the rubber boot on the wire harness?

I generally take sharp awl or ice pick to go through the rubber so the wire is sealed tight once it's pulled through with a hanger it's the way I been doing it for many years.
