- A very short, simple, and amazing chorus, written in the mid 1970's. This chorus has now found its way into many modern hymnals, but is rarely sung in favor of newer songs of more recognition. What a powerful message contained within these words, though.
2 stanzas - I included them both, with a reprise to the first stanza.
Oh, how He loves you and me
Oh, how He loves you and me
He gave his life
What more could He give
Oh, how He loves you
Oh, how He loves me
Oh, how He loves you and me
Jesus to Calvary did go
His love for sinners to show
What He did there
brought hope from despair
Oh, how He loves you
Oh, how He loves me
Oh, how He loves you and me
Oh, how He loves you and me
Oh how He loves you and me
He gave his life
What more could He give
Oh, how He loves you
Oh, how He loves me
Oh, how He loves you and me
Beautiful arrangement
Thank you so much for listening!
What key are you playing this in? I'm thinking Ab. Is this your arrangement or is it sheet music by Kurt Kaiser? I have this song in the book "Best of Kurt Kaiser"Classic arrangements for Solo Piano. This song is in the book. It is in Ab ( In the style of a Piano Concerto). I am playing by ear just watching your hands. I'm 65 and just learning to read music. This one challenges me.
