Original Arrangements - everything from Hymns to Modern Worship.
I'm a "pastoral pianist" - a pastor who plays piano! Though I preach on Sundays, I enjoy arranging hymns and worship songs for any who would be blessed by them. I took my first piano lesson about 40 years ago, majored in it in my college years, and was a worship pastor for over 15 years at various churches. Nowadays, rarely a day goes by that I don't play a few keys!
In the future, I hope to be able to have a home studio, but right now, I am playing on a K. Kawaii piano at the church I pastor. All of my video work is done with my camera phone, but hopefully I will be able to upgrade that one day as well.
Also in the future, I will be providing sheet music arrangements, but this idea is still in progress.

Living for Jesus - Piano Hymn Instrumental with Lyrics
By hymnwriter Thomas O. Chisholm (1917), this is a beautiful song of invitation and response, sung at many churches still over 100 years after its first appearance. All 4 stanzas are so equal in their significance; I had a hard time selecting the 2 to highlight in my lyrics, but I ended up with verses 1 and 2. All 4 stanzas are below:

Yielding allegiance, glad-hearted and free,
This is the pathway of blessing for me.

Really, the main purposes of this video are two fold: -Testing out some new mic solutions. -Making my daughter happy. The Interstellar movie music is very good, and yet very simple, chordally speaking. There's really no rhyme or reason to what I played except to go through some of the main elements a few times. What key are you playing this in? I'm thinking Ab. Is this your arrangement or is it sheet music by Kurt Kaiser? I have this song in the book "Best of Kurt Kaiser"Classic arrangements for Solo Piano. This song is in the book. It is in Ab ( In the style of a Piano Concerto). I am playing by ear just watching your hands. I'm 65 and just learning to read music. This one challenges me.
Hey! This arrangement is in Ab and goes to Bb. This is an original arrangement but honestly it's not so much a prepared arrangement as it is more spontaneous. I am familiar with Kurt Kaiser though. I love how you jazzed up the song in various areas to break up the music into becoming its own piece. Often times, people lose the meaning of the song when they hear the traditional piano piece.
Some songs can be done quite a number of ways - this is one of those. Doing it like this in a church service with people singing along would take for-ev-er but it lends itself nice to a piano arrangement at least. Hope you're doing well this weekend!
