Nice to know this is possible. I purchased an ottoman at a thrift shop that looked just fine but started shedding almost immediately after bringing it home. I sewed a cover for it with home decor fabric but replacing the original faux leather is a great option for when we get tired of the cover. Thanks for this tutorial.
