It's such a cheap smelling dupe, ok, for a celebraty fragrance not that bad, and some cheap similarities, but the magic Baccarat Rouge 540 has, it doesn't reach in any way, I bought a big bottle after I fell in love with BR540, but was really disappointed and dont saw the dupe thing at all, gifted it than to my 17y old niece... But of course it's awesome if you like and wear it as an easy reach, BR540 dupe or whatever!!;) Was just surprised bcs usally people if they own BR540, they are saying basically the same like me... BR540 is just a magical fragrance and out of comparison, especially not comparable with Cloud, this cheap smelling notes that are similar, doesn't make it the same smelling/fragrance;)

PS "crazy in love" by Montale, it's not a dupe, but it definitely has some vibes of BR540, usally I'm not that into Montale's or even Mancera's, but crazy in love is different (Roses Musk, Starry Nights and Arabians Tonka I like to;), it's a quite sweet fruity floral, with woody notes especially in the dry down, but in comparison to most other Montale's, it's an easy reach and for most occasions, could imagine that others who are struggling with Montale's/Mancera's, would like that one to, and for sure great for niche beginners (it's a quite new release, think it was 2021;)
Have you tried Lattafa's Ana Abiyedh Rouge? At that price point, it is the one that comes closest in my opinion. I've mentioned it in one of my videos. Good list, though. 😊
Ladies do yourselves a real favour&skip the edp buy the Extrait it's far superior ,it's smoother ,richer, far more inviting&definitely far better blended .it also has almond in it which the edp does not .I'm way too addicted to 540 (&oud satin mood &Amyris femme / Aqua vitea basically all MFK fragrances it's ridiculous but he has the best nose absolutely).
I wanted to try br540 so bad so I got cloud because of this video and I didn’t like cloud at all. Still I was determined and finally got a sample of br540 and turns out I also don’t like that one at all! Don’t get the hype! But yes i agree cloud really does remind me of it!!
In my opinion Sunset in Heaven by Parfums Vintage is also a really great clone of BR540. My nose is not very trained but I tried one on each hand and they are crazy similar. I love BR540 so I have to try your recommendations. Thank you for this !
I completely agree with that sharp harshness you mentioned in Mancera! I get the same vibe in Mancera Pearl and it really ruined it for me. Other people don't notice it
Have you tried Bond No. 9’s Greenwich Village? Also very similar to 540, not exact, but very similar without the medical aspect. Also, the performance is great. Lasts forever.
I was going to write about Spirito Fiorentino Tiziana Terenzi - for me it is the best BR alternative, not cheap though ;) but excellent. I have a problem with BR because I can not smell it after a few minutes but TT stays on me for a long time, projects as hell also.
I have bought Sunset Riot and I have samples from Baccarat Rouge 540 EDP and Extrait de P. They do smell really alike. Yet I feel Sunset Riot projects more and you smell more the Safran, i.e. it smells more pepperish. I would say that it smells less sweet than EDP and smells closer to Extrait de Parfum. Thoughts anyone ?
I haven't smelled sunset riot, but I have samples of BR540 in EDP and in Extrait. I prefer the Extrait , it doesn't have that sharp-spicy medicinal note. I cannot smell EDP on me , it disappears very fast, but it also suffocates me at the same time (my throat feels right). But Extrait smells very nice and doesn't suffocate me
Hi cloud isn’t a dupe for me I do see where people get that feeling but def different and I like cloud bc I like coconut. There.are so many scents that have a similar scent to another one if only for a few moments then they do their own thing like BR540 which is its own beast. Whenever I test a frag I make sure I get at least 8-10ml so I can really spray and experience bc some places and their 1-2ml drops aren’t enough.
I LOOOOOVE Ariana Grande's CLOUD. Omg it's so beautiful, I bought it because I thought I would like it...but I loved it! Since I loved it so much I would love to try other dupes and the original Baccarat Rouge (I don't know how it smells...YET!)
Great review 🤗, ive tried instant crush and sensual instinct, to my nose they are different but thomas kosmala apres l'amour no 4 is exactly the same after the 1st 5 mins of dry down, no4 starts of a little citrus with bitter orange but then the magic sets in. Far more beast performing than bk540 and cheaper by the ml. Fm frédéric mahora has a clone 910 which is imo exactly the same but doesn't perform like no4.
No. 4 Apres L'Amour is supposed to be one, but it is super screechy to me...more like a distant cousin. I was wanting to choose between trying it and Instant cCush- because I struggle with Mancera and Montale as well lol. Thanks for the review! ^_^
Have you tried Bond no. 9 Greenwich village? I feel like it's a complete dupe of BR540. The only difference I smell between them is that Bond no. 9 doesn't have that medicinal smell people get with BR540. It's very expensive though, so not an affordable dupe.

Me too I've only ever bought the Extrait (my hubby surprised me with my 1st bottle)so when I went to re purchase the guy tried to convince me that the Extrait was "too intense for me"until I pulled my own bottle out of my bag he then quickly gave me the new one & a good few samples (pity they were ones I already owned bottles of )but the Extrait it's just far better blended&smoother is just better also it has almond which the edp does not so maybe that's another difference were all smelling,it's soooo addictive once u get it you'll keep wearing it -I wear mine to bed, lol.

I also requested that PriceRiteMart and FragranceX emails me when it is in stock, and I got an email the other day - they are in stock! I will say however, there is an underlying oil base that the original 540 and extrait have that all other clones I've tried just do not have, including Al Haramain Amber Oud Rouge. It's like the after-smell of a really good quality oil-based perfume that I personally think you can only really get with the original. Good luck :)

Ja, I also don't get the dupe comparison to Baccarat Rouge 540, ok, some really cheap synthetic, girly similarities it has, but I mean, it's just a hooole other lvl... BR540 there's no clone out there that is a real 99% dupe of it, maybe 70% max, but non of them has this ability being that soft, never to much and at the same time that long lasting, potent, sexy/seductive, but even great for the office, this magic BR540 has, non if them has! And BR540 is sooo amazing for layering, you just can layer it with every 9ther fragrance out there and gives them something special, today and the last 1, 2 weeks I'm litterly obsessed with the BR540 & Erba Pura by Xerjoff combo, ufff, such an intoxicating, beast mode in every way, pure sex scent, if you own Erba Pura, you just have to try this combo, compliments guaranteed👌🤌🤪🥰😘

On my clothes, Ariana's cloud smells just like Baccarat Rouge. Way more than any of these others. On my skin it is an 80% dupe. It's amazing.

I think that In The Stars by Bath and Body Works smells so much like BR-540 on my skin. It smells really good.

Tiziana Terenzi the Spirito Fiorentino is unbelievably matching BR 540. For Mancera, I didn't catch the resemblance to BC 540

I was really surprised when I picked up Impulse Tropical Beach Espresso Body Mist and it was not too too dissimilar to BR540.

To me, the closest dupe to BR 540 that I've smelled is Swiss Arabian's Gharaam. Pretty close.

I thought that Cloud started off like 540 but the dry down was vanilla and tobacco for me and I ended not caring for it.

Ja, I also don't get the dupe comparison to Baccarat Rouge 540, ok, some really cheap synthetic, girly similarities it has, but I mean, it's just a hooole other lvl...
