Based on what you learned about how to tell the difference between males and females - what was the one in the intro that was quacking? Let me know in the comments. I hope you enjoyed learning about these birds. Unfortunately the goslings in this video met a sad ending the next day - the crocodiles got them 😩. Thank you for taking the time to watch. I appreciate you and your support.
What an interesting bird. I didn't know they are a cross between a goose and duck - or that it is a shelduck. Great images of the Egyptian geese and their large family. So sweet to see the oops!! Sorry to read their fate...but I guess that's why they have large families. Thanks so much for the excellent information. Best regards, Cathy
I was going to say OMG, there goes an alligator! I do not like them. It is so sad. I have seen that occur with the green heron. This was very informative. Excellent filming. It must have been a female quacking 🦆 Thank you for sharing this ..
I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment. I appreciate you and your continued support. Wishing you a wonderful week.
Hi Becca! Great info about the Egyptian Goose - I didn't know they're technically not geese. The goslings/ducklings were cute - sorry to hear they were caught by a crocodile.
Hello Becca,we have them in the Netherlands too and they can make a lot of noise!! Thanks for explaning the difference between the male and female.Wonderful filmed....Greetings Gijs
Awesome footage capturing the beautiful alluring fantastic scenery, thanks for sharing and bringing us to this wonderful relaxing place and stay safe always.
Great to watch the Egyptian geese. Cute ones. Nice to learn about their voice differences between a male and a female. Have a good day, my friend! Take care!
Some fascinating info here Becca. We have a few around here. They do breed on our lakes but the goslings (so beautiful aren’t they) don’t seem to last long unfortunately. I do love to see them around
Great capture! You capture lives, colours and lights not the objects. The video is also informative. This video makes me smile. Thank you for sharing. 🥰
Hello Becca. Thank you for a great movie and nice observation. It looks like the male is bigger. I feel very sorry for goslings, but that's nature. Greetings and have a nice day. 🌞Pavel🦊

Lovely scenery.
The crocodiles had a feast eating the ducklings. Sad for mama Egytian ducks. Very informative too
In Europe, this species is very widespread. Thank you and have a nice day. Jarmila
