    Looking forward to the next video on this John deere.I have rebuilt a few of these 1 1\2 HP and lucky to say blocks have been good.the bushings are available thru Flywheel supply..thanks for posting

      Are the cam and governor shaft bushings a common problem with these engines?

    Maybe you can ask about welding the cracks with nickel rod ( less heat on the casting ) I have used nickle rod B4 you have to heat the whole casting but no where near as hot!!

    Very neat! Not a huge fan of these engines tbh but it's pretty damn cool seeing one all taken apart!!

    Where is s good place to get all the torque specs for these E motors?

      I don't think that Deere had any Torque specs listed at the time of mfg. Most farmers back in the day wouldn't have had a torque wrench on the farm anyhow. Just use common sense when torquing the fasteners. The Society of Automotive Engineers website have listed common torque specs. for specific fasteners that you could reference.

      Flywheel Supply, and Starbolt Engine Supplies to name a couple. Also there are plastic tanks available now as well that'll never rust out!
