I apologize for not having footage of going inside the Tundra Buggy, but I don't think I need to say why weren't allowed to. So here some photos of its interior: 1. www.zoochat.com/community/media/baltimore-zoo-canadian-tundra-buggy-in-polar-bear-watch.128863/full?d=1291238895 2. media-cdn.tripadvisor.com/media/photo-s/11/0b/ce/b5/tundra-buggy-exhibit.jpg 3. www.zoochat.com/community/media/baltimore-zoo-general-view-of-polar-bear-watch.128864/full?d=1291239394 4. www.zoochat.com/community/media/baltimore-zoo-general-view-of-polar-bear-watch.128853/full?d=1291238404 5. www.zoochat.com/community/media/polar-bear-watch-tundra-buggy-interior.119972/full?d=1284783984 6. www.zoochat.com/community/media/polar-bear-watch.119976/full?d=1284784834 7. www.zoochat.com/community/media/polar-bear-watch.119973/full?d=1284784012
Right now, the exhibit is called Northern Passage because they don't have polar bears anymore. Amelia Gray moved to the Oregon Zoo, and Neva moved to Utah's Hogle Zoo.
When we visited we had to get a ride back to the gate as I was traveling with my grandma, but it took us down the old path with many of the original enclosures still in tact!
Yeah, almost every time I walk down Buffalo Yard Road the old exhibits are always a wonder to look at. And every time in recent years I walked down it, a few deer were in the woods.
Cool!!!! Try visiting either the Phoenix Zoo or Bearizona sooner or later! Heaving Saurolophus!🐧🐧🐧🐧 Hey, I've seen Magnet in my Zoo Tycoon Complete Collection game before! Shiver me Cryolophosaurus!🐻
Although the polar bear enclosure was on the small side I really like the tour and I really like the creative idea with the tundra buggy. Maybe sometime soon You can check out Lincoln Park at Chicago's polar bear enclosure.
You probably know I keep most of my opinions off my channel, but yes, we both loved the zoo very much. I was especially glad to finally see an atypical Africa attraction. I hope to return one day.
