Mac John I work nights at a job where I have a lot of free time. Leading up to may/PAC I went on a boxing marathon and watched mikes entire career including the build up to the fights etc. Everything you said is right. He was like any athlete wanted to be champion and then all the hsit came with being a champ. That would've been alright too had all the people who kept him straight who he respected didn't slowly leave his life one way or other. He was just an athlete who liked to have a good time. But he got shat on repeatedly and didn have the maturity and stability that comes with a solid upbringing to keep it under control and would lash out. Media ate it up made him a circus animal. That made him act worse and it was just a spiral.
