Years later now I come to look at this game. There's a lot of little things they don't teach which makes it fun to explore. How are people using his Cryomancer command grab after the attack string? Did it get patched out now or what?
My favorite combo: Must be in Cryomancer variation and have 3 bars.Preform his cold blooded combo, and immediately go into your X ray. It does 12 hits, 44% damage. It's really effective.
ugh. im gonna have to practice alot to work on these kombos cuz im having alot of trouble with them :/ what does it mean when it says 3-b? what is the - ? and do u have any tips for button pacing? cuz for the first kombo i end up doing 1,1,1 and doing the quick slice on accident
Would have been nice if the cryomancer kombos were like, all at the end, or begining or something. Also seperating them like this could have let you have anotations that skip to cryomancer kombos. Universal kombos the same way. Just a though, instead of mixing them in randomly.

Good video, I know you can't get everything but there are some x-ray combos that do a lot of damage that are simple that you missed, a few corner combos as well. Also you didn't do a lot of pop-ups which puzzled me because most of them still combo into dagger stab.
Im trying to do the universal bread and butter, and after the initial 1,1 i can't get the qcf+2 to happen as a part of the combo. It only works after the animation for the 1,1 ends. In your video you do the 1,1, qcf+2 quickly. I can't seem to. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
PressedCubanz I do it fairly fast, but not too quick. Just take it one button at a time. 1, 1, then qcf+2. Don't rush it and it should happen. There's a large cancel window after the 1, 1. So doing it too fast can ruin the combo.

Just trying to avoid picking a character that may be a little to advanced for my admittedly noobish(no pun intended) talent set.
jesterexe It's not a stupid question. The dashes represent the end of an attack string. So: 1, 2, 3 - b, f+4 is an attack string and then a special move. However: 1, 1, qcf+2 is when you omit the last hit of an attack string to do a special move instead. Usually because the last hit won't combo or because the enemy will be knocked away.

@@GarretGoodbarrel that grab string got patched about a year ago. Now the dagger stab is a command grab for Cryo Sub. Down left right x on ps4.

at the end of cryomancers f+4, 2, 1+3 you can always add a ice hammer at the end to deal some extra damage.

Ive gotten 42% combo with the same variation without x-ray and had to use 2 meter bars. Very hard

It's mostly up to you to decide. Although you'll have to pick some variation in partcular when against some characters...
