why did you destroy this roll of paper in the first place ??
Out of spec paper at paper mill. Going right back into pulper to make new paper.
I work at a paper converter, not a mill. We never have to cut them down to the cores like this, usually they come in gashed and we end up slabbing a couple inches off by hand and then shredding it through a baler by hand too. Honestly wondering why we dont have one of these. We have 2 new rewinders and a badass prototype sheeter, not sure why we dont have one of these
@@JoeyWalls , out of spec is a corporate waste. Can we buy these rolls cheaply and use them instead of wasting more money to process them again ? Also, seems like someone has a serious quality control problem, to even allow this amount of out of spec material to be produced.
