Hi Erin... sometimes when I have small pieces left over, I will print my journaling on a regular white piece of paper and then I will find a scrap piece that fits it and use some temporary adhesive to adhere the scrap piece over what I have printed on the white paper to get it situated where I want the text on the scrap piece, then I will rerun it through my printer and the printing will go onto the scrap piece which I can easily pull off my full size white piece of paper and use on my layout. The temporary adhesive comes off easily with a rub and remove eraser. It works great for using up my little pieces of scraps of vellum or the clear labels.

Probably something everyone knows, but make sure your vellum is marked for inkjet if that is what you are using; otherwise it does smear easily. I also print on transparencies if I don't have sticker paper. You can also print photos on transparencies for a "negative look. I do this for a filmstrip down the side sometimes, or to create a copy of an ultrasound photo.

Thanks, this is so helpful. I've done it by cutting the size I need and taping it onto a regular size sheet of printer paper that I have already printed the journaling on and then running it through the printer again. Your way is much easier.

This is great, Erin. I love all the helpful tips. I couldn't figure out how to print on small pieces of paper. I never thought to feed it through the back....don't I feel silly! I bought this beautiful solid wood TV stand and end tables for my living room and thought I'd sand them and paint them...not my thing. I literally have one white distressed end table and the tv stand and other end table are cream...it"s been that way for over 2 years now. Haha!

I decided to pay for a year of the app until I can find something comparable. My every day Epson printer only feeds through the back and won’t feed the cardstock I use (80lb Neenah white). I have to use my ginormous photo printer if I’m going to use cardstock. I’ve never tried running anything but photo paper through my little Epson. What thickness of cardstock do you use in that?
