The advantage of Ritual Beast is its complexity. Many average players won't know what to stop from the deck in order to disrupt your plays. Still, the best way to play against Tenpai is a trap deck.
The deck is extremely linear even integrating Nemeses. The deck is uncomfortable to stop because one of the key cards for the loop (cannahawk) is returned to the extra deck as a cost outside of that it is not particularly difficult to deal with

Also the new waves of support where specifically designed to counter Yubel making the deck very powerful. While the deck has linear combos they are more like guidelines as once you get interrupted or open SBTL or Inheritance the deck has a lot of choice tied to it. Also deckbuilding the deck is similarly complex to Branded (Bounds yes or no, Zefrapelica and or Pelephin or neither of them, second Steeds, Nemeses yes no and if yes Protos or just Colossus, 2 Falcos or 2 Reis or both at one, Board breaker or HT approach and if Board breaker Thrust or Eclipse?). All of these deck building choices are viable and it is up to personal preference and skill level if you want to play them. So just because the deck is taught as a linear combo deck with a lot of resources to keep track of this cannot be further from the truth in practice. I would say from linearity the deck is around DLink post Chaos ruler. Its no Tear but the lines change a lot when you open more extenders and one ofs or if you g2nd or not.
Just as a clarification: The decklist shown isn’t the only way to build this deck. Instead of Pelephin you can play Zefrapelica (basically a second old Lara with another name [and a destroy during the endphase clause]) or neither of them. Also Bounds is optional but it definitely helps in MD (however you need two Reis to make it effective as you cannot special it back if it leaves the field). You also don’t need the 3rd Ulti Canna and Typhoon probably should be Bagooska for a counter to Maxx C. Also the second Falco is optional but this depends on how common Kash is and how quick folk learns what to banish (Banshee or Falco if it is a one of). Other than this the combo lines shown in the video while functional are by no means perfect. So I strongly suggest you come to the RB DC if you wanna learn the deck (or directly check out Chu and EDYPro as they have combined probably over 60 hours of content and are main contributors to the spreadsheet).

@@JoeLikesBlue Stun, Lab (Trap build) and Tenpai. I believe even someone who has no idea of YGO could probably do fine with these decks after 10 min of learning. Stun and Tenpai because they are very linear. Trap heavy Lab because its the modern equivalent of set 5 pass. Sure Lab is complex and has a lot of depth but the concept is very easy to understand.

Same thing for a person who has never played before, btw. Though I heavily disagree with the idea that anyone could truly understand a yugioh deck enough to not lose upon meeting any interruption in just 10 minutes in the first place.

Hey all, i wanna buy this deck on paper so i was wondering if D shifter is a mist in the deck, because most of RB effect is on the banished zone and i thought if i don't have it i would be in massive disadvantage.
First objective: Loop Canna and Ulti Canna. Second objective: Set up your extra normals to extend the Loop. Third objective: Don’t get Maxx Ced Forth objective: Lock Tenpai out of the game. Fifth objective: SLara and Nochi makes you immune to most HT. Sixth objective: Laugh as you successfully have 3 separate locks that are backed up by a pop 4 trap, optionally battle tricks as well as 4 mat apo and SP. Then finally you otk.
The key is protos. If protos resolves you instantly will win the game. He nullifies an attribute either fire or dark for yubel. Colossus was another popular extra deck option because he acts as a fell safe for the deck. It's anti nibiru and if you bait you have insulation to hand traps and some board breakers. Now like most combo decks it's not protected against Maxx c

best way to play against tenpai is zombie world control, they need a specific type to synchro summon, that or buster blader.
While complex and hard to get the hang of, it’s quite strong once you get the hang of the game plan.
