Thanks for the great video to you from the distant past. :) I've just picked it up and absolutely loved it. My wife loved it as well so i bought bunch of expansions as well :)
Got the 2nd edition Starter Set of the Phoenix Elves vs. Tundra Orcs. Like: The 2 factions aren’t stereotypes. Dislike: the board is of slick folded poster paper. It is hard to make the play area behave. This game does have a good price point.
I just picked up the starter, and I love the new factions! The paper is not great. I recommend picking up the playmat from the Plaid Hat Games website store. It makes picking up cards much easier. -Dean
When I first got into the hobby, I owned and loved the first edition. I don't really play these kinds of games anymore, but I'm tempted to pick it up just for nostalgia.
hey if you don't mind me asking, where can I get one of those wooden trays you use to hold the dice and tokens? Love how good they look and how compact they are, definitely would love to get my hands on something similar
just played this game a few times, this game is disgussstttttinnnnggg (90s speak for nasty which is 90s speak for sick which is really quite good). its basically final fantasy tactics in accessible board game form
MEEPLETOWN BOYS LETS GO
I'm gettin HYPE!!! - Jon

Good game play. May think about acquiring the master set with all of the factions AND the thick cardboard game board.
Re: Final Thoughts. Miniatures belong in curio cabinets alongside Hummel figurines.

I’d recommend checking it outline, too. The free version is a good entry point, and it’s really well done. -Dean
When I first got into the hobby, it was the 80's. Don't complain.

I got them on Etsy several years ago, but they stopped making them. It’s unfortunate, because I would actually like some for my house. -Dean
@@MeepleTown ah that's unfortunate, thanks for the quick answer

😆 At first I thought you hated it! 😆 Glad you love it. It’s the bomb.com. -Dean
I definitely don't recognize that expression from the 90's... never heard it used back then. A more apt expression was "it's da bomb".
