Thank you for watching buddy! The flight was 14 hours from Vancouver. I went Calgary-Vancouver-Delhi; Felt good to fly international on a proper full service flight after this long. Feels good to have some normalcy in life back. Hopefully your paperwork processes quick and you can fly out too :)
Thank you for watching :) There no is RT-PCR testing in Delhi for Canada arrivals as of yet. They will only check your Air Suvidha Forms and covid vaccination checks upon arrival. Passing the covid counter and then the regular immigration took around 45 minutes. We were out of the airport within the hour.

It confirms once more, that one should keep away of any US/Canada based airlines, as they are awful in terms of food, drinks, and onboard service amenities. nowadays even all EU based airlines are awful as well. So the only option is MEA (Emirates, Qatar, and my favorite Turkish. Have been flying few times recently on TK business-ohh boy service is back, champagne non stop etc etc).
Thank you for watching! You are right, although I have had good experiences with european British Airways when flying to India in past. While Air Canada is fairly basic, it's service to India and other Asian destinations is actually much superior than on transatlantic routes. Flying AC to Europe is really bare bones sadly. My experience on Air India economy class also has been fabulous in terms of food. Unfortunately due to rapidly changing covid regulations, I deemed it most convenient to fly direct from Canada to India for peace of mind as opposed to transit in a 3rd country :( P.S. will be flying back to Canada in 4 weeks. Starting then you will need a test on the 8th day after landing and quarantine at home until such time. If you are arriving from a "risk country" then you also need a test upon arrival. @@armaangill675 The entire EU is under a "risk" category at the moment unfortunately. So you will need to get a test upon arrival. Qurantine for 1 week and then get retested on Day 8. Make sure to folloes all directions on the Air Suvidha portal.
Food quantities are less served compared to Far eastern ✈..No whiskey served.. Flights from Vancouver to Mumbai is MUST..Calgary can b added.. For Mumbai passengers problems are for luggage..as from Delhi to Mumbai domestic flights to b taken which allows only 15 Kilos..rest kgs charged.
Hey! Whiskey was offered in the alcohol menu but I opted for the White Wine instead :) But yes, overall Air Canada's meal service is very basic compared to Asian airlines. My experience in Air India is usually very good with the quantity and quality of food offered as opposed to Air Canada. AC surely needs to up its game. I hope to see more Air India/Vistara flights to Canada. Having a flight out of Calgary would be dream come true.

honestly i do not care about how old and how bad is the aircraft as they have to go through schedule maintenance, but i do care about in flight services and food and i have to say that Air India is the best. If you are living in Canada and you want to travel by Canadian budget airline with expensive fare then choose Air Canada cause its actually worst airline

Nothing noticeable! Though turbulence is lower at the centre of aircraft. While noise is lower near the front!

If you are living in Canada and you want to travel by Canadian budget airline with expensive fare then choose Air Canada cause its actually worst airline
