Was in nyc st Patrick’s day 1999 and 2004 I think it was when I saw the chieftains and Elvis Costello Carnegie hall.
Or was it 2005
Aww Brilliant Loved it
Beautiful
This strikes a chord in the heart!
❤
I'm as Irish as the cows come home but Danny Boy is not even an Irish song..but she sings it beautiful...The air of the song is called The Londonderry Air and the lyrics were written by Frederick Edward Weatherly an English Lawyer. There are many supposedly Irish songs that are not in fact Irish..another one that comes to mind is I'll Take You Home Again Kathleen.
Beautiful really beautiful
It's Irish by adoption.
@@rapier1954 stolen you mean.
Can she not sing without having to look at the word in front of her. Every video I’ve seen seen Cathy has to read the the lyrics.
TBF the song is an English ballad, would not expect her to know the words.
lighten up
the roses are NOT dying...they are falling. Why do most singers mess this up?
I am a fan of this young lady and she has done many beautiful songs, this however is not the way to sing Danny Boy. just listen to Judith Durham sing it !!!
English ballad not Irish.
SO WHAT ????? Just enjoy this beautiful song.
@@artmcpharlin6730 The introduction is wrong then, that is what.
Cry about it
