My Lord, after all I have done, you still love me & help me. I used to think I am not worthy of your love until I realized that I, like all others, am your child & by that fact alone: your love is my birthright. My only task is to make my thoughts, words & actions worthy of such a boundless & infinite love, compassion & forgiveness.
If in ur life so much Pain Is increasing and u feel like ure going to heaven, ure a christ follower Because he Died For you so that ur sins get Washed away, U didn't commit the Unforgivable sin which is Suicid3, then u might go to heaven Even tho we humans don't deserve heaven we only get there thru God's mercy and grace Also Suicid3 is the real unforgivable sin and it's related to blasphemy against the holy spirit
That’s why they turned away, it’s not that they were turned away from his words, it was him revealing to them he knew every one of their own sins, once they realized his awareness, that’s when they backed away. Crazy how it takes God calling you out personally.
Deuteronomy 19:15 (KJV) "One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established." Being "without sin" means the 2-3 witnesses. Leviticus 20:10 (KJV) "And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death." He wrote the law, which says that both the man and the woman be executed. They brought her alone. If they stone her, they would have been next.
If this is all somehow true, then I applaud him for not choosing a life for himself, instead paying it for so many others, despite how easy it would have been to choose the former.
Morals and laws were very much mixed together back then, adultery was indeed a crime, a lot of unethical acts which were criminal back then are not now, but are still morally condemned as they should be. You’re not gonna be killed for ruining your marriage, doesn’t mean you should do it considering the pain and distraught it brings to your partner.
If only these were actually the words of Jesus.... The earliest known manuscripts to include the "he without sin cast the first stone" verse only date back to the fifth century, more than 400 years after Jesus’ death. It was added in.
What if I told you, this is another fabricated story in the bible. It cannot be found in older manuscripts. Someone added this story in. Why would he/she do that?
@@thegambler808 i have often asked :what is the historicity of all characters from old testament and new testament? I find it strange that there is enough archeological evidence to prove existence of say herod and some Assyrian/Persian/Babylonian persons mentioned in the two books but there is no evidence that David or Moses existed... At this rate are both books mostly fabrication?
@@moshedayan2810 A fabrication is defined by an invention, or lie. In the context of Holy Scriptures, addition of segments or bodies of texts that are not in the original document. When you find these additions, you say the book contains fabrications. Lack of archeological evidence attributed to certain characters does not mean the persons do not exist. It just means they have yet to acquire those artifacts needed to prove them as historical facts.
@@thegambler808 thanks... Coming back to your original question "why would you want to believe in a book that has fabrications?"... Since you have used the plural-( fabrications) the question is how much of it is fabrication and how much "authentic"? I have read that accounts of some events by the apostles don't match one another. I am a Hindu myself and i believe that our epics Ramayana and Mahabharata are over- embellished versions of some actual events. I wonder if the Greeks feel the same way about the Trojan War and Sumerians about the epic of Gilgamesh. Jesus was the only person that could have thrown a stone, but Jesus didn’t. That’s how loving Jesus was
That is so TRUE! I've never thought of that!
Wow... you are spot on! Thank you for sharing that!
What a loving person Jesus is! Only Jesus accepts loves and mixes with sinners. There is none like Him!
Feel like more Christians need to remember this
Christ was without sin. He could've rightfully condemned her. He didn't. Think about that.
Aman True True
Not her judgement day.
Who doesn't make mistakes? This is not about jesus but the woman... Jesus knew humans are fallible...

Atleast the people were honest to themselves.. If there had been a politician among them😂
If there was a politician amongst them he would have cast the first stone. Even without for Jesus's reply
Oh Jesus make my life beautiful plz
I can't take abuse and neglection anymore

The subversion of Christ is the greatest. Never going the way of expectation.
he whom without sin hath cast the first stone, high up above them, like a knife through hot butter

Will Jesus ever ask us to do something he knows we can't do?
Nope. However, with the power of God in you, nothing is impossible.

She is a very beautiful woman.
Backfired. On these hypocrites. Similar to my dads relative’s! Sorry to say
why did it look like she was about to instantly sin again.

This isn't true
Survivalgardner no they werent added in
Find a first or 2nd century manuscript with the verse. You won't. It was likely added to the Gospel of John in the third century.

Even if it's fabricated the message it gives is profound
