wow. This is one of my favorite albums ever. Sylvester? Oh Sylvester. You get it if you love this album. This is a great mix of the original... I actually had to put the headphones on and dance. Yeah. LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anthony Hanney had that exact feeling with this one, it was hard enough going into a record shop at the time and describing basically an instrumental, 25+ years later you kinda start to lose hope 👍
Managed to ID this one in 1998. It was great in the early days of mp3 sharing and ID'ing tunes. I can remember singing ID's over the phone to mail order record shops prior to that!
Neil_AC for all our nostalgia for those days I wouldn’t wish trying and failing to ‘describe’ a track (especially a dub track - at least this has a vocal like or two in it - in a busy record shop on the kids these days 🙂
2020 on lockdown was listening to T Hump 1991 Zanzibar mix and heard this. OMG I nearly cried. Luckily I have a friend called Rob who worked in Black Market during this era and straight away pointed me in the right direction. In the post and the rest is history.... Literally. Such an amzing nostalgic record for many
Takes my back to my younger clubbing days of all night party and dancing and meeting hott chicks. Now I;m old and married I still have all those funtastic memories to look back on.
Is that the mix where Carl Cox scratches over this?? If it's the same one I'm desperate to find that mix uploaded any ideas?? iv got it on original eclipse tape but no tape player to listen to it on..Ffs..
I remember hearing this at a rave at Rivermead in Reading. May have been Yikes, Nitros or Swing. Was asking for it in the Record Basement and never tracked it down. Also tried to buy on discogs but ended up with something else... Anyone know where I can get a decent rip of this mix?
I’m from Reading too, loved this track. Heard on a Carl Cox Eclipse tape bought in Locker Room 1991! Bought it twice on discogs - neither copy had the right mix 👎
The beat of this track is not even original. this track is 80% sample. besides this came out in 91 going into 92. Crystal Waters album came out in 90 going into 91.
1991 was the Golden Year.

david devlin do you mean this mix? Bass cuts is played at 1:12. www.mixcloud.com/OLDSCHOOLINIZIODITUTTO/carl-cox-new-age-2-the-eclipse-1991/
Crystal waters sampled this one. Good organ, house/garage hybrid.
Sorry but using the same Korg preset is not sampling.
I think you'll find that Crystal Waters was the original sample.
You might want to consult the Basement Boys' catalog, love.
About the same time of release but I would guess it is a sample.
The beat of this track is not even original. this track is 80% sample. besides this came out in 91 going into 92. Crystal Waters album came out in 90 going into 91.
