My grandpa said he wants me to do his nails with this but wants it to be matte! Looking for a tutorial. Wondering if I should use matte top coat or just buff it lightly for a matte look
@@pinky.has.inky. I think the YN matte top coat isn’t ultra matte so it may look more natural. And the original cover pink is a little more translucent. Of course there’s the new clear! I’d love to see your grandpa’s nails! 🥹
Karen you are so freaking awesome! I have had the Fiber Gel since it was first released and now I'm super hype that my kit is on its way 🎉 I'm so ready to use your techniques so I can get even better results. Somehow I missed or just didn't think about going straight from Fiber Gel application to a ManiQ or stain resistant top coat, instead of removing the inhabitation later between 🤦🏾♀️ Thanks Karen
That is so great, you guys are always a big help ❤️ I have a none related question and I hope you can help me..... I have this demanding client that requires at least double the time and products and not to mention her comments about details that probably doesn't fully understand (not nails service) I tried to turn her down but still she insist on coming and start to threaten that she will make a scene and post on FB... Etc so how to get ride of someone like her politely without making a scene?
Clients like this can be challenging! There are several ways of handling it. -Politely and professionally explain to her that you do not feel it is a good fit as a client/technician relationship and that you will not be scheduling her in the future and she will need to find another tech. -Politely and professionally explain to her that doing her nails takes you longer than any of your other clients and causes you extreme stress. Thank her for her business in the past but tell her that you will not be scheduling her in the future. -If you are worried about her causing a scene in the salon, you can always call or text her.
Thank you! This is precisely the issue that I’ve been trying to deal with on my nails! I’ve been having a problem with my acrylic extensions coming loose due to dips in my thumb nails (they were damaged awhile back) and it’s driving me crazy. I was wondering if it would work if I tried to just fill in those dips (indentations) with acrylic and later did the regular full extension on top of it? Or would another product work better? It’s so frustrating.
If you are wanting to create extensions on nails like these, we would recommend sculpting with a form rather than using a tip and you can use acrylic or hard gel for the whole nail. When you sculpt, the product will be able to fill in the dips and ridges. If you try to use a tip, the dips and ridges will create a gap between the nail and the tip and you won't get great adhesion.
The fiber gel is an added protective layer, it doesn’t physically strengthen nails. Acrylic and hard gel do the same thing, so there is no need to do both.
Rubber base is not a product we manufacture, so we don't have enough information about it to say if it would work as well. What we can tell you is that the Fiber Gel is a thicker viscosity & does contain micro fibers within the gel to fill in the ridges & maintain flexibility of the damaged nail.
If your client is more prone to feeling the heat, you can always start curing on the Low Heat Mode or by keeping the finger outside of the light for 20-30 seconds and then fully cure inside the light.
Can scrubbing (well gently stroking in) in rubber base coat into the nails with ridges help with making it level too? Blessings from across the pond, Scotland. 🙏 🏴 ✌️
Fiber gel is a thicker consistency but self leveling, so you wouldn't need to "scrub" it in. Just brush over the surface (if necessary use 2 coats or a thicker application) and it will level into the lower spots.
If there is still a nail for the product to adhere to, you can build out a short extension or enough of a nail to mask the damage. With that said, we wouldn't recommend creating a lot of length if there isn't much of the natural to adhere to. Too long of an enhancement could cause more damage if it is out of balance or gets hit and breaks.
It's our Fiber gel in color Cover Nude. Fiber Gel+Keratin is a thicker consistency soft gel designed to enhance natural nails. It contains Keratin which contributes to natural nail health and micro fibers that form more of a "mesh" to give the gel more structure.
*Fiber Gel = Fiberglass,* so please use a mask when filing this product. Also, if possible, file outdoors because fiberglass dust is more dangerous than polygel dust. *Fiberglass dust causes asthma.*

@@youngnailsinc Synthetic fiber doesn't exactly explain what it is. I'm sorry if I sound uninformed, but I Googled "Fiber Gel" - and it says on Google that it's fiberglass. So please understand my confusion when you say it isn't, but the product name suggests it is... I'm inexperienced with nails. I'm on chemotherapy for stage 4 breast cancer, and chemo patients gotta be extra careful with any products we wouldn't use on a newborn. Builder gel is literally holding my fingernails together, so I'm naturally interested in a strong product, but I nearly fell on the floor when I saw "fiber gel" because I immediately thought of fiberglass. *So if it's not fiberglass, then WHAT is it?* I can ask my oncological pharmacist if I can use it while on Ibrance (chemotherapy brand).
This product is amazing. I am heavy handed and have filed my nails too thin a few times. I can’t wait to get the kit so I can try the nude color!
Just satisfied watching this video!!!!!
Love all the techniques you guys teach us nail artist!!!!
Thank you Karen! 🥰 Can't wait to receive the fiber gel kit!!
I used fiber gel on my hubby when it first came out and repaired his nails
This is an amazing product!!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH for taking time to teach me the new fiber gel technique. I can’t wait to get my YN goodies they are there way ….❤️❤️❤️❤️
Also Covid will do that to nails. Ordering the gel right now!

Would love to see this matte, especially on male clients. Beautiful color btw!

Is that Jorge’s hand? Thank you for this! I’m looking to start practicing on live people and only want to start with the fiber gels. Love you guys!
Yes it is!
Perfect little video!
What's that glitter on your nail I love it!
It is a glitter press over ManiQ Black 101 with Crush, Pinkie, Sunshine, Shock & Fuchsia.
I love your sweater!! Where did you get iittt omg
Nail damage is real! I was very rough with mine in beauty school and now they grow out wonky. Be gentle.
Thank you for the tips! I can’t wait to get my new Fiber Gel kit!! 💞
If we are going to be soaking off the fiber gel do we skip the protein Bond or will it still soak off using the protein Bond
We usually apply the protein bond to just the tips of the nails if we will be soaking off.
Wow love this colour! When are new colours of Fibregel coming to the U.K.? My clients would love this shade!!
You would need to contact your closest distributor about bringing in new products.

@@youngnailsinc Thank you for the reply. Yes, I always use forms and sculpt.
Can we put this as a thin layer to protect the nail and put tip & acrylic on top ? So the gel is protecting the nail ?
The fiber gel is an added protective layer, it doesn’t physically strengthen nails. Acrylic and hard gel do the same thing, so there is no need to do both.
I have the same thing sence birth. Can i use rubber base olso to keep them like that?

So it is ok for this product to be thicker when it goes in the lamp? No heat spikes?

Can fiber gel be used on a finger that most of it is gone from an old injury

Where can I buy that kit also how much would it cost?
The fiber gel kit is available now under the sale tab on our website.
Amazing❤
Can you soak this fiber gel off?
Yes you can.
@@youngnailsinc Thank you 😁
Is the fiber gel HEMA free?
No, it contains HEMA.
Is this soak off?
Yes you can soak it off, however, if you want to make sure it soaks off easy don’t use protein bond. We prefer to remove with an e-file.
Is this biab ?

Stop picking your thumbs Habib...😂😂😂
It doesn't look smooth and even on top
