I noticed in this video that she started out with her arms crossed and seemed a bit guarded. Then Seth joked around and made her feel more comfortable and you can physically see her relax. That's one big reason why I love this show. He is so good at just being kind, funny, and welcoming. It gets the best out of the interviews. Also other than a few of her acting projects, I didn't know Renee. She seems awesome! I'll have to check out her music now. Go LGBTQ+ crew!
Yes Seth is so good at matching his guests energy and immediately making them relax, reminds me of graham Norton. It’s a special skill that a lot of hosts don’t have, so a lot of interviews are awkward. If she was on jimmy kimmel or Fallon it would be more awkward lol.
100% agree. Seth and Norton just have a kindness and ease about them. Colbert is pretty good at that too. Always wonderful to watch these interviews. Would love to see a "Day drinking with Seth" with her XD@@BobaTeaBeech

I might stumble across things organically without searching, but chances are if it doesn't interest me I'm not going to delve any deeper than a surface scan in passing. Even moreso regarding music. Just not as interested in finding new tunes these days.

The amount of pop culture in 2023 is about 80 times what it was in past years. It's literally impossible to keep up with anything/everything. I've never heard of her either. I also don't give a crap. She seems cool though. Album art is on point. Her music sounds like 10,000 others artists, though.

The phrase "southern new Hampshire" always cracks me up. Montana has to have regions, we're like a small country, but designating "southern new Hampshire" feels like saying "eastern Rhode island." I had a colleague from NH in a national org, she was part of the rural caucus, lol, and tried to join in...she once complained that sh had to drive 4 hours round trip to a meeting 😂 I had to drive 20 hours RT for meetings in my own state lol
“I’m from Southern New Hampshire,” is legally as close to, “I’m from Boston,” as you’re allowed to get if you grew up in another state. Also, I think the rest of the state of NH looks down at SNH as inauthentic, because there’s still civilization.
