I adored this... self care was alien to me a few years ago and I couldn’t say no to anything or anyone. Constantly exhausted and snappy and then I lost my dad. It took a huge loss and subsequent dark period for me to reassess how I lived. I had compassion based therapy and it changed my life. Self care is now part of my everyday and I have implemented it in my daughters lives too. I still get comments like “ isn’t that self absorbed?” Ect but I try to explain loving yourself and taking care of yourself is so important to be able to do everything else you do. I’m a busy mum and a nurse and this all takes a lot from me emotionally so self care is so vital. keep up the amazing content Kate ♥️

I absolutely love that you’ve found a relaxing routine that works for you 😊 Quick question unrelated to this video, on your ig story you recommend the H&M black mom jeans which I bought since they looked AMAZING on you but I’m confused about the sizing since I live in Canada. I’m a similar proportion to you except a bit taller (5ft 6in) and ordered a size 4 which I’m so worried about since you ordered a size 8. Should I have ordered a larger size or is a UK size 8 more equivalent to a Small like a Canada size 4 is? Thanks love ❤️

it looks like youre using the gua sha tool with quite a heavy hand. its supposed to be done quite lightly :)
