Wow - this worked! Thanks a million. Never again Samsung! Nice work convincing me to switch to an iPhone after nearly 2 decades of dedicated droid use. Well done.
Thank you for this, I was starting to worry with only 3% left! I couldn't delete the Smart Things app though, there was no option on my device. I tried disabling the app and this also worked. No more charging issues.
This worked for me after trying about 5 fixes on UA-cam. Removing Smart Things and Smart Switch and restarting my phone cleared the moisture icon...Brilliant what a Guy👍
My phone was completely dead and what worked for me was plugging in the charger until it showed the warning, unplug and repeat about 20 times then i unplugged it and held down the power and lower volume button until my mobile provider logo showed up then when that showed up i plugged it back in and once i got to my home screen it was charging.
You just helped me fix this absurd problem! First with 1% i got into the settings to clear cache and data of the Samsung Smart Apps App, might've just been luck though. Had to plug and unplug the cable while the warning was showing when the phone was off (had no battery left) multiple times 15+. Then unplug, hold volume down + power button, plug it in when the samsung icon appears. No moisture warning nothing. Thank you!
@@twondiesel3727 Help please I am not able to uninstall the Smart Things app it goes by the name Smart Things framework & uninstall option is greyed out. But the phone is charging perfectly for now.
If you plug charger cable in while phone is off, It will charge the phone a tiny bit before the warning comes up. Do that enough times and you'll be able to turn your phone on again... then quickly delete those apps.
Parah bgt samsung A54 ini masak hp gk pernah kena air malah sering notif lembab, punya fitur anti air malah gk boleh kena air melebihi yg gk punya fitur sampai mau ngcas aja susah
My son's phone just did this at 2am. We powered the phone off and plugged it in and it showed the charging symbol on the screen. I'm hoping it'd got some juice in the morning so I can try this. If you got wireless charging, can try that, otherwise I say power it off and try putting it on the charger after making sure there's no moisture or gunk in there. Hope it works for you (and us)!
@ashleyn9924 thanks. i just cleaned out the charging port with a toothbrush and put the phone in sunlight w the charging port facing the sunlight for 20 minutes. phone's working ok now and not displaying the error no more. hoping yours gets fixed soon too!
@burgundyonmytshirt my kiddo woke up this morning and said it was fully charged and left for school. So we will see how it behaves when he gets home lol Thanks for the reply, if his is still acting up then I will try what you did too!
THIS WORKED. THANK YOU. Might change phone after this A54. I don't want to experience this moisture detect ever again
