So I decided to give my log burner multifuel fire a full deep clean after a full season of burning as it was desperately ready for a clean. I started out cleaning out the old used ash from last burn and then processed to remove the fire bricks, baffle plate and grills. After all they was removed I the proceed to sweep the chimney using the chimney Typhoon Power Sweeping Set S4U that I purchased off Amazon for £50 which was a complete steel. The results from the sweep was amazing I couldn't believe the amount of soot ash that came out of the flue. Once finished I then rebuilt the wood burning stove and the job was complete.

Nice video, but you have chipped and broken fire block, and worse the stove has deteriorated and there is noticeable rust, and that mysterious piece you found may be part of your stove. I’m not sure about your home insurance situation, but if something happened and you went to make a claim, you have published evidence that you had a unfit wood stove. Just saying, …
