Yo, ForstCZ! I need your opinion lol Should I finish all side quests, or can I just skip to the rebirth part? I'm getting kinda bored from running here and there on Normie (level 64).
Once again with help from RNGesus. Because it's sure ain't skill we are talking about. For example count the fp spent on all your excessive bat swarm casting or the use of poison stabs where regular piercing stabs would have been more beneficial for you. Okay if you want to do this for yourself but posting this as a public video is doing the community a great disfavour.
With all due respect, everything in the game is about RNG... However, my mage only uses spell dmg and my bloodline is proof of that. I don't have the skills for poison or prierce, so I only use conjure and bat swarm...I used poisons just like that and it doesn't give much dmg. The main attribute is spell dmg and dodge.. I don't care about focus here either, just have 5x conjure + bat swarm in a combo turn
@forstcz Much in the game, not everything though, is about rng yes. But the part you seem to misunderstand is where skill comes into play. If the odds are not in your favour, then you use your skill and knowledge to make the odds more favourable. Not bash your head against a wall over and over again until you get the desired result. It would have been one thing if you had done all you could to increase the odds as much as possible. But this is not the case here. Far from it, which becomes painfully obvious when looking how you play, your bloodlines, abilities, gear and the way you reason here. Your build is serverly underutilized and you lack the knowledge to see the mistakes you do, so you simply excuse them by making poor excuses like "I don't care about focus". You are aware that every excessive bat swarm could have become 1 sharpen and 1 dagger stab (preferably piercing due to higher damage). Even if you don't have any points in piercing expert or the poison bloodlines, using the attack which deals the highest damage should be a no brainer (unless there are specific reasons to use the lower damage option). Even if conjure and bat swarm is the back bone of your arsenal as a mage, it is not all about spamming those two abilities and hope for the best. You must learn how to use them and all the other tools at your disposal as efficient as possible. Yes it takes some time but it is the only way to improve your skill. And needless to say this requires of course that you are willing to learn.
@@erikovg I think it's about the opinion of each of us. I don't have lbl for some things to be able to use them, and besides, I really don't need to use them. I'm doing this mage and series to show that it's not difficult to play as a mage and it doesn't require any science... It's about the progression of the game from normie to inferno, where a lot of players are wondering how to do it. Everything else can be learned by the player by gradually trying and playing the game. I myself tried a lot in the game to know what suits me. I prefer slash weapons and play mage for fun. In addition, it saves time on VF2, which I'm really looking forward to. I respect your opinion and thank you
@@forstcz It's not about having enough lbls (which you btw could have increased by spamming Watcher's Maze if you just wanted). You lack severe knowledge about how to play a mage build properly. How else would you explain the fact that you have lots of unnecessary and straight up wrong bloodlines? If you are going to show other players that it is not hard to play mage build (which I agree) then get yourself some knowledge first so you don't teach others your faulty ways. You disregard a lot of the fundamentals and ignore everything you don't think is necessary (which I would say is a direct result of your lack of knowledge of how to play a mage build and the game mechanics). This is what makes your mage build videos more harmful than good for someone who wants to learn how to play as a mage.
