Very nice. Neat to see the difference between the tractors you run up north compared to what we run down here in the states.

Nothing better than a nice sunny day sitting on a cabless old tractor, swather or combine.

Merry Christmas Ty, my dad traded his B47 for a 440 in 1978. My brother has it now and it still does some hay and straw baling without a hiccup.

What amazed me the most was seeing an IHC baler that actually tied a bale. My brother bought one brand new. The dealer, after several days of trying to make it tie properly, replaced the knotters. Didn't help. Replaced the needles. Didn't help. Tried different twine. Didn't help. The dealer brought out another brand new baler. Wasn't much better. He eventually got his money back and bought a used New Holland from a neighbour.

Grandpa bought a 37 baler brand new and it was a great baler. This 440 we bought at Olson's around 2000. It has never missed tying a bale. Only time we had trouble is when we grabbed the wrong bobbins of twine.

OMG how do you ever get anything done? No GPS, no auto steer, no big cab, and no shiny new paint. I'll bet your crops brought the same money as the people with all of the fancy new stuff. Shows you don't need all new equipment. I have all older IH tractors here as well. I still try to use the H some too. Newest one is a 584. Have a few 56 and 66 series too. I really like them. Would like to get an 86 series someday. You guys have all the neat equipment. Making your own lumber with that was pretty cool to see. Thanks for the video. Was enjoyable to watch.

Absolutely. You don't need that stuff. We have a 1066 and 1086. I prefer the 1066. The 56 and 66 series has better shifting. Thanks so much for watching! Glad you enjoyed it!

I agree. You don't need that stuff unless you have huge acreage and huge equipment. and if you need it at that, well, I think you're farm is too big.
