    Exactly what I teach, 1,3,5,7 steps, landing the same each time...on that outside foot for an open stance.

    I’ve seen this footwork called “the move”. It’s really helpful
    The thing I struggle with is I’m hopping too much off the ground. In this video, the player barely gets off the ground. How would I address that?? Please help.

    My problem is the complete opposite...my footwork on my forehand is naturally open stance... even on balls that come straight to the middle towards me where I should be stepping in I still hit open stance...
    My backhand I prefer neutral stance and feel uncomfortable hitting it open stance...
    Idk that is just me😄

    Jeff, I love your videos, but why do you use that contact sound bite? It sounds like an oversized racquet strung at 30lbs. Why not use the audio that your mic is picking up? It is very un-natural and I'm sure it takes extra time to edit.
