Not only is it more accurate, but it looks cooler too because it visually says, "I have to work hard to go as slow as this POS you're flying." And it somehow stays so perfectly still in relation to the other jet
I think you mean effects. CGI is the what Pixar animation uses. It’s fully in the computer.
No one gonna talk about how he went out of the way to add a reflection of him at @6:20
Never even realized it was there after all these years. Jesus, the Captain is magnificent
he knows
Just discovered your vids through Mark Rober, you are great, keep up the good work :)
@@The1Wolfcast yeah same lol
Is there anywhere to read Lt. Beaker's report? Sounds like it'd be fun
Yes, I would like to have the link to the report as well.
Me too
Couldn‘t find it
Likewise
I’m wondering this too
Man the vfx are *GOD* *TIER*
I love that Destin is wearing gloves from Home Depot. So on brand.
Nice Tom Scott reference.
my god this video is so damn GOOD.
I love how Destin is totally loosing it trying to shoot his part😂
6:11 that was a flawless recreation of how I would react
Seeing people from the channels I love interact makes my day :D
Brings a tear to my eye seeing the D getting bigger and bigger...... wait.
There is a limit to how big it should get, then it becomes painful, just due to blood loss, you may not realize it. You may want to catch a ride to see a doctor.
The average nerd experiences loss of consciousness after 4 to 6 Ds
Doctor: “You only have 6 minutes and 51 seconds to live.”
Me: *”Gimme that Quick D doctor.”*
True sp
As someone who is new to watching Cap D videos, this could be taken waaaaaay outta context
MotoCat ikr that was the joke
@@jw4277 thank you for coming back to your 2 month old comment to clarify :P
Doctor: What? I'm not gay
The wild and rapid rotation of the jet when "greeting" the other pilot should be enough to give it away. Not only does it look comical and completely unreal, I don't know if such a maneuver is even possible; but it definitively looks like something you do when you got a death wish.
A hypothetical person who doesn't know anything. Meet me, the hypothetical person.
Can you PLEASE publish Lazology, the constant referencing makes me want to read it so badly!
It feels similar to the fabled Necronomicon at this point ^^
No expert in being lazy would publish a book...
The world isn't ready for it.
It will contain only like two or three sentences
"love with your brain, not your heart!"
That was hilarious
Although, in a technical sense, that is a true statement? I don't think your heart is capable of anything except pumping blood...
The wing rocking was such a HUGE giveaway. Planes in slow flight don't react like that.
I could tell it was fake cuz the way it be and it do also
the way it be and it do also
Word.
thank you for this comment.
This is why UA-cam was created. Thank you jawed.
englech plez
My "there is something wrong" moment: 0:20
The wing up and down movement. Always the same speed. No slow moments when it changes the direction. Then the rapid move away.
I love you, Captain Disillusion! 💚💙💜💛
But do you love him with your brain?
Nearly choked at 'cool_jet(1)(1).webm' and the whole conYOURter design.
Love your style of background jokes, they're so on point
My layman's brain just tells me "it moves too smooth and fast" which is usually my reaction to CGI
You are the only god I pray to
yeah I saw you put your stinky ass in the air and praying
I love the casual Tom Scott.
The video only needs one sentence:
“The wings would snap.”
"Hypothetical person that doesn't know anything"
Wtf who told you about me.
"Tom's formidable intellectual (and physical) prowess can be witnessed on his channel:"
LMAO
The Captain is so cool, I wish he was my dad. But then again, he'd figure I'd changed the F into a B on my test.
Destin's cameo has been my favorite so far. Love the interaction.
Reposting from reddit; Big D! I hope you read reddit comments.
I'm a big fan of your videos, and I especially love your sign off "Love with your heart, use your head for everything else." I think it's great advice, and I've considered making a t-shirt of it, but I'd much rather by an official Captian Disillusion shirt with the slogan on it to support the show. Do you think you'll ever make t shirts, and if you do, would you make one with that slogan on it? Thanks!
watching the clip of that jet just... wiggle? made me hurt...
I'd love to read this report of David "Beaker" Kent mentioned at #1:42 but I can't seem to find it on Google. Also, no link in the description for the report. Is this report available online?
Well written, well executed. Dude... You make quality.
Just want you to know that at 3:58 I laughed so hard I scared the crap out of my husband who is currently sitting next to me watching a different CD video. I kept laughing.
This is a work of art!!
"Love with your brain and not with your heart" lol, best thing after "I'm smarter yet again" I've ever heard hahhhaha
"remember adults, love with your brain, use your heart for everything else!" - intern illusion
