Drain Plug gasket is the collapsible Copper coated rubber washer, solid washer will not seal it but will also deform the drain hole on the sump/oil pan.
Got a 308 GTI 270, when should the coolant fan kick in?? Temp gauge is at 3 quarters (doesn’t go over) fan doesn’t seem to kick in when sat in traffic or when engine is turned off. Engine warms up at a steady normal pace & seems to cool down within normal time. Coolant level is correct, no sign of any leaks. Engine isn’t over heating but at the same time surely the fan should kick in to cool turbo & engine!? Any ideas? Thanks in advance for help/advice. 👍🏻👏🏻

36NM is the Torque on the drain plug. Filter cap is 25NM, says on top of the filter cap.

There should be a warning light if the fan isn't working when it's supposed to be running.

Oil grade is 0W30 Isit not.. Maybe its different in Europe
