Orcas are adorable. They actually have the vocal cords to speak human languages. They are appex predators and amazing sea animals ❤️
The Humpback doco with the Freediver Team (2019?) was a terrific look at SCUBA-FREE interactions with whales.
They are so generous, they share food with us human
I learnt this video never showed us anything 😤
they're quite intelligent and they're part of The Dolphin Family which I honestly did not know prior to this I knew they were smart but not that smart
Always amazes me that these people interacting with Orcas in the wild never get attacked. Not saying they're mindless killing machines (which they're clearly not) but I guess it just surprises me that an intelligent Apex predator has never been curious to see what we taste like haha. One of my favorite animals, they just fascinate me.
I, too, always wondered how so many humans never get attacked when in the water with Orcas! I think not only are these divers not going to get attacked by the Orcas, but they will be protected from predators like sharks, as the sharks will stay far far away from the Orcas!!! :-) :-) :-)

Amazing podcast. To the people complaining about the lack of visuals: there are no visuals! You want corresponding footage for everyone one of these stories?? Use your imagination! It's a free podcast. Enjoy it. It doesn't need visuals at all. There's plenty of Orca footage online.
I agree. I was listening as I was taking care of some laundry and as he was telling the stories I just imagined everything with pictures in my head. The best way to do it.

The podcast is very interesting because it tells us what orcas are like, what their secret culture is like, and some similarities they have with humans. Some people believe that they are evil and attack but in reality they just play and are friendly, they are considered very intelligent animals developing new echolocation hunting techniques. For example, when they shared a meal with Brian Skerry.
Visuals with this narration would be awesome
The dude is super descriptive. You're supposed to use your imagination.
They're giving us the privilege of activating a part of our brain less accessed these days by us visualizing the story kinda like our grandparents did with the radio as children, and how some still do by book. Thank you for this great story NatGeooooo

I agree, but if we let caged animals that where captured young or born in captivity, they won’t make it. Don’t get me wrong it’s horrible to keep them captive

Before this video, I liked orcas, but I thought they were really aggressive and attacked often. But now I know, they are just playful and loving!
This video is very interesting, because it allows us to learn about the secret culture of orcas and certain similarities they have with humans. For example, the orcas shared a meal with Brian Skerry; When comparing killer whales with human beings, it can be said that they have certain similarities and are considered highly intelligent animals that have even developed new hunting strategies.

I had to laugh at the naration at the begining " killer whales also known as Orca". They are Orca ( Orcinus Orca ) with an aka/nickname of killer whales.

The podcast es very interestin because it gives information about orcas, it also makes us think about the things we are doing and what harms these animals and the cultures we have . also, the orcas are not bad and they do not attack what they do is play with people since they are friendly
This podcas is very useful since it informs us about the behavior of the whales and tells us how we should act in the presence of one, the whales are very intelligent since when a human is in danger they protect him and push him to the surface
