like many korean she lacks confidence when it comes to speaking foreign language

Yeah in Jennie and Jisoo's VLive recently, Jennie said she doesn't even have to translate when she's/they're talking in english bec Jisoo already understands it. Since the majority of the members are fluent in english, I think she'll be able to adapt in no time.

He is a great interviewer not only can he easily hold a good multilingual conversation he also makes sure they all get a chance to speak and at 9:34 he quickly picks up that Jennie is having a hard time finding a question so instead of letting them sit in an awkward silence he gives her a question. It would be great if all English speaking interviewers were this thoughtful and understanding I would love to see more interviews like this.

It feels so weird hearing Rosé in an Australian accent. I know that she grew up in Australia but after seeing interviews in Korean it’s so different! Same goes for Jennie. I had no clue that she could speak English! (I’m suuuuuuper new to Blackpink and Kpop in general)

@@noone-gx4sq no she didn't, she moved to New Zealand for a few years and then came back to Korea. Jennie was born in Korea so her main language is Korean. Rosé's main language is English, Rosé is the one that lived in New Zealand all her life but then she moved to Korea to become a trainee.
