We need a new class of bravery medal: for all the public servants we rely on to protect the rule of law by doing their jobs even at risk of losing them, or worse. Our democracy depends on hundreds of thousands of them. We take them for granted, I think. Perhaps we could call it the Jedi Medal?

Krebs seems to be a decent guy, yes. But I don't think we can make that kind of blanket endorsement of _everyone_ Trump has fired. After all, you can be a very bad guy and still not be bad enough for Trump.

Filled out my ballot in the comfort of my living room, walked it to the PO on a beautiful early October day. So proud of folks for whom it was so much harder, and still it’s fair my vote counts the same.
@Joe Horn Tbh my PO is across the street, and we were super early, plus in CA our votes don’t count the same as some folks’ do or I might have felt more nervous. Also excited to see how the tracking worked, and it worked perfectly. 3 days to the County office, very satisfying.

This is how you know what Trump gets up to - it's all the things he accuses others of doing. He simply doesn't have the mental capacity to imagine anyone doing something he hasn't done himself. That's a pretty long and very disturbing list that includes some very serious crimes, including child sexual abuse, human trafficking, rape, drug dealing and murder (probably by contract).

Or the Electoral College numbers?
Krebs is a Republican and he is unapologetic about that fact, I am glad that he chose integrity over sycophancy and I am sad to see him go.
One of the few good things about this debacle is that it has shown that there are still a few Republicans left with a shred of decency and ethics.
I guess he values being a good American and a good patriot higher than being a Republican. Good for him, hope the next Administration re-hires him, integrity in US public offices should always be valued.
@zhuull1 I think there are good republicans, but they’re very few and far between. I’ve spoken to republicans that despise trump as much as anyone on the left. Some people are actually republican and not in the Cult of Trump. I don’t know too much about McCain for example, other than he really didn’t like Trump.
