glad i reached retirement and got the heck out of kalifornia four years ago. i really miss old towne cafes' inferno, a spicy bloody mary made with absolut peppar in diego. sd by far over la but you have to be nuts to move to that state at this time.
I love living San Diego, but would never live in LA. I would consider Orange County though. I'm fine with making the trek up the coast to visit LA. That's enough for me.
La is shit… SD is too expensive.. A one bedroom in SD is like 2,300$ a month.. a 1 bedroom in LA in a ghetto ass area is like 1,800$ a month. in a nice place a 1 bedroom ranges from 2,000$ to 5,000$ a month for a 1 bedroom Moving out the country would be the vibe…

I’ll have to check out “cafes’ inferno” thanks for sharing. I agree, I prefer San Diego over Los Angeles.
Good summary! I bounce between the two metro areas - Pasadena is my base, but LOVE getting to spend time in your zone!
I’m glad you enjoyed the video. I’m happy you’re able to spend some time in San Diego!

@@shaybapple same! Orange County is a place I might consider but have no interest in LA.

Yes, affordability is a struggle in any Southern California city.
