I love that Brock deals with Hatred in the exact same manner he deals with Hank and Dean. Not Rusty or Helper, though.

Literally, he's the guy who recertified Brock for his license to kill in the mother of all foreshadowing moments.

Knowing this show, Treister's son probably has whacky super powers but just prefers to live a mostly normal life so he doesn't feel like he's a freak.

Well Rusty is going to die, leaving the boys without a father, and Hunter is specifically denying the means to save him.
*whine whine whine*
two things I just noticed:
1. the funny answers they give to those questions aside, Brock's proving his point because they've had their memories wiped- and subsequently tested for defects- so many times that they don't even bat an eyelash at Brock asking random and nonsensical questions in a time of crisis
2. of *course* Brock had a custom leather cuff for his watch, they're probably all manufactured with "Rusty-sized" bands
Also, Hatred just kinda nods his head along with their weird answers. I assume he agreed with them.
another reason he had a leather cuff is that soldiers usually have fabric or leather watchbands, if they wear any. You don't want a metal band reflecting sunlight while you're in the field
I really appreciate that Brock is the only OSI agent that gives Hatred respect, even in the movie he refers to him as a super soldier.
I bet Brock is secretly enjoying this, since Hatred gave him so much shit back in the old OSI days

Sgt Hatred does look kinda like The Soldier of TF2, though Soldier doesn't have a fixation with little boys.
I always thought of him more like a cross between Heavy and Soldier.

Man, Brock getting almost killed, going on the lam and then joining sphinx was really good for his outlook. He’s no less the badass but he seemed to get nicer and more openly enjoy his work
Well it makes sense. Brock knew his career at OSI was dead in the water when he was made Rusty’s bodyguard. Sure he grew to love the Ventures, but it still probably bothered him that his skills weren’t being properly utilized.

I heard theories that one reason why Brock never used guns was to keep Venture’s EMA level down so the Monarch and other villains have to reduce the amount of force they could use.
Most men consider it an honor to be killed by Brock Samson, though.

I feel like Hatred got smaller. I don't think he used to be so much shorter than Brock.
People shrink with age, especially when they're overweight. Not to mention Brock probably grew a bit since he was in his early twenties when he joined OSI.

Hatred as a character really sucked, and was a major step down from Brock. His personality and his voice really made him unbearable.
I found him cool
