That Blue Beetle was a lot of fun. Shame it got cancelled. Also the reason there are so many Keith Giffen characters is because they had a special Keith Giffen issue where Jaime was pushed back and forth through time and met a bunch of Giffen characters. It was a lot of fun and a touching tribute

Yep. Calm before the storm. The catalogue looks crazy next year, so I’m glad we get a breather here.
Going all in for the Finest books. Aquaman is exciting to see since it has content from before the old Showcase Presents line.
I didn't realize the Supergirl and Aquaman DC Finest collections were on the way, too. Time to clear some bookshelves!

Not a big solicit for collected additions but the Cass Batgirl, Renee Montoya Question, and Black Canary run announcements have me so hyped
I'm just concerned they will start this "Finest" initiative and not follow through. Hopefully they stick with it.
DC have such a.great track record for starting lines and cancelling them part way thru. I won't be supporting this line. Been burnt too often before by them.
@@PM-oq8dglately they have been very good at completing lines though… what recent one have they discontinued? Can’t think of any off the top of my head.
DC just made a video ad of the Compact format, if they do they same thing for Finest, we’ll be in a DC renaissance

I didn't realize Battle for the Cowl wasn't hardcover. That sucks.
So the only era that hasn't been collected of the original Swamp Thing run is the Doug Wheeler stuff, who had the unfortunate job of following up Rick Veitch after the jesus debacle. It's not everyone's favourite run, but still worthy of being collected, imo. Some great art by Pat Broderick & Alfredo Alcala, and Kelley Jones even does a fill in. Maybe after all the Rick Veitch thickies are out, DC can put this out too.

Blue Beetle and Birds of Prey are on my list, Swamp Thing by Millar and Hester omnibus looks interesting. I own Swamp Thing by Nancy Collins, so I might purchased that book.
That Blue Beetle Series has wrapped up in issue 11. It was canceled, was okay but still sad. Blue Beetle always gets a crack at having an ongoing but never lasts very long.

Do you think we will get a reprint of the Deluxe Editions of Tom King's Batman run? I loved it, but woof the prices online are a lot! I only got a couple of them for cover price. Everywhere else it's a couple hundred at the low end O_o
DC have done a handful of complete collections. I know Batmans grave qas one and a few others.
I was trying to recall if the Blood Reign series was called Complete Collection.
DC veerrryy occasionally brands a book a Complete Collection. Doomsday Clock and the upcoming Terriffics come to mind

speaking of Blue Beetle, do we have any news on whether or not they're doing Blue Beetle Jaime Reyes Book Three? Would be a shame for them to not complete the run
Hi Omar! I was wondering if Marvel is planning on reprinting ASM Cosmic Adventures Epic Collection. I saw a pre-owned one on Amazon starting at $650 😭
Yes, DC had a complete collection series, but not for every title.
Is rhe wildcats/aliens crossover not in the stormwatch book because Marvel has the rights to them now? It's kind of an important story for that series 😂
For the 680 page count, it has room for the Wildcats/Aliens. The 26 issues solicited is 604 pages plus covers, that leaves 50 pages for the Aliens story, which was 44 pages. I don’t think they’ll have 50 pages of extras. They may not be allowed to put the issue in the solicits.
When are we getting the rest of the Wonder Woman by Perez omnibus reprints? I just need vol 3 but it’s going for crazy $$$ right now!
The Battle for the Cowl collection looks good - although I wish instead of "Oracle: The Cure 1-3" DC would instead included 3 never before collected issues written by Dennis O'Neil set after Batman RIP - Detective Comics #851& Batman #684 (Last Days of Gotham 2 parter) and Detective Comics #866 (The Medallion)
Yeah MARVEL the prices of DC Finest is LOW. How about knocking those Epics back down
It seems like there's more value. Epics go for I think $50 now for ~450 pages. Meanwhile, the DC Finest books are supposedly going to have over 600 pages for $40.
Epics used to be the best value around. Now, not so much. Even digital versions are too expensive.
Woh ... DC Compact Kingdom Come is 20$ rather than 10$? ... I have been wondering if the 10$ price point was an introductory price only ... I was planning on collecting all of them ... but if the price is jumping like that I am out.

@@NearMintCondition Hope you are correct. Even I must admit that the current 10$ price point gave the buyer great value for the money and I think that played a big part in the apparent success of this line. They can never get enough of them in stock where I shop.
