But suddenly I remembered: My girlfriend was already on the train from Osaka and expected me to meet her at the station. This was before cell phones so I couldn't reach her on the train. Couldn't very well leave her waiting at the station. So I missed it. 😫😫 Thanks for posting, so I can see what I missed 30 years later!

Brother Ray and the King of the Blues had careers of almost identical lengths, starting at almost the same time, and taking very different tracks, but look at how they ended up in the same, celebrated place. Mr. B.B. King had to drop out of school in the 7th grade to pick cotton in Mississippi. He had to educate himself. He would learn shot sentences in French. Spanish, Italian, etc. A lot of this are in a museum in Mississippi.
I know people will disagree but love the blues guitar seen most of the greats including BB but to me BB just plays the same few licks all the time. It does little for me as a guitar player.
