That Scarlet Crusade Guy the way of the paladin is to know no desire save the desire for justice, and never count it’s cost to yourself. It is to know joy beyond description, and glory beyond mere praise. It is to suffer and die in the place of others, for no reason save that it is right to do so. It is to freely choose a power you can neither comprehend nor control. It is to do what others might say was folly, and know that your path is right.
I find myself coming back to this video time and again. This video just gets me going when I am in a dark place.

As a Protection Paladin it is my sworn duty to aid fellow Azerothians who may be in dire need of help regardless of their skill level or experience. I will tank mythic keys, battlegrounds and in raids even if it means never hearing from them again so that they may advance to their next adventure.

I try all other classes yet I come back to paladin every time. Darkness left me wanting. Arcane arts never felt as wonderful to use. A simple blade and shield left me wanting as well, turning into a beast? Thx but I'll past. The way of a monk was not a life for me. A priest? Sorry but I feel naked in cloth. Paladin, I keep coming back to it. It is my main, even in dnd I roll mostly paladins. The light has been the only faction in WoW I feel like I could count on. So now I stand as protection paladin protecting the weak and tanking for my party members. For I am a child of the light. FOR THE COMMON PEOPLE I STAND STRONG!

Prot Pally still does good damage in pve too, unlike other tanks, I really enjoy it.
I was mage for almost 15 year. I started trying out other things and found I love Retribution Paladin. I have 4 now, but my favorites are Zandall of Stormwind and my newest, Roseettastone of the Dark Irons (in Pandaria Remix right now). I still play my original gnome mage (and I'll have a gnome paladin if they ever let us have them), but I'll always be Paladin in my heart and play. For the Alliance!!

My OC is so Paladin he died, was raised as a Death Knight and chose to be weaker, eschew Saronite armor and runeblades, to live as the Paladin he was in life. At times he has successfully called upon the Light to aid him, even though it causes him physical pain when it does.
He would rather be true to his Paladin oaths at great cost than be strong with the darkness.

I recently played my first Paladin in a D and D Session, and did that ever not go well. I got into a Fight i couldnt win, and was forced to Abbandon my Armor and my Sword (a magnificant Greatsword, given to me by My Father). Now i travel the land with my nothing but a Staff as weapon and the helmet that was part of the Armor i had to leave behind in the woods. One of my Comrades is dead, and the things that so very nearly killed us are still out there.
And i dont know if i will have the heart to face them again.
that's a horrible session.

Attack your aggressor with the fury of the gods, but be merciful when an enemy chooses to surrender.

Peace is always an option, but be willing to fight hard to protect your people and your family with the fury of the gods if peace becomes hard to reach or if the enemy is unwilling to talk.
It is never a weakness to retreat if you are overrun, but never abandon your comrades.
whats the difference between a warrior and a paladin? i bet no one knows but all act they are paladins.. before you reach a paladin rank you start as a warrior! a warrior that use holy magic to overcome anything. thats the difference between a warrior and a paladin, a warrior only do things to survive and think about himself , when a paladin give hes life to others around him, to protect them!

I do not believe that the Light needs Darkness, the saying "What is Light without darkness?" Mostly comes from people who sides with darkness or just the opposite of that being or power. And generally the people who believes in balance, and obviously I don't believe that. That Light does not need Darkness, neither does the Darkness needs Light. I will always be a Paladin main..

Our armour is vigilance and our greaves are penance while we walk on the road of our laws...we Paladins are a different kind of warrior
