i have 3 TVs with HDMI ARC and a soundbar with HDMI ARC. I want to be able to switch the AUDIO between the 3 tvs to the soundbar. It's for football season. We have a mancave with 3 tvs. Usually, we have 1 tv audio on at a time and my husband mutes other tvs, then switches audio between tvs depending on what game he wants to hear.
What device switcher could we buy that can do this?

I have a problem what is the best solution for my situation, i have a AV Receiver 5.1 system, but also a Soundbar can i wire it so when i turn on my tv, my soundbar will work with Nvidia shield for everyday watching, but if i would like to hear music and movies i can switch to the AV Receiver?

Connect your hdmi port from your projector to the “hdmi in” port on your sound bar. The. Connect a second hdmi wire from the “hdmi out” port to your tv

Hi there. I have two different android boxes. I connect them to an HDMI switcher so I can choose which one to show (there's a reason why I want to do that instead of plugging them to 2 different HDMIs on TV). Because I don't want their signal to just one TV but 3 (I have the hdmi cables ready) should I also buy an HDMI splitter so it produces 3 output connections (3TVs)? And do I connect the hdmi switcher (output) to the hdmi splitter (input)

what can I use if I want to detect two separate monitors on my laptop. I need it to detect two monitors so I can have different windows and not have everything repeat on the same screen. if that makes sense
Your question if we clearly understand is that you wish to connect two monitors to your Laptop. So you'll have 3 screens ( 1 laptop main display & 2 different monitor screens). If your laptop has two HDMI Ports you'll be able to output displays to two monitors. If your laptop has a single HDMI port, unfortunately you'll be only be able to connect a single monitor.
One tip to connect a extra monitor would be trying out a USB-C to HDMI cable if the laptop has a USB C port. You can read more about this on forums discussions.

No, the Splitter only helps you split a single source to multiple displays.

You might be able to use the switcher to switch between two outputs though HDCP handshake might be an issue hence must be checked earlier.

I’m still confused. I have Apple TV and I want the sound to go to my Sonos system and my display to my projector. Is it the switcher I need?

If that's the only thing you want to do i.e Cast video from Apple TV to Projector and sound to the Sonos System. Well then there is a provision for the same in many devices called HDMI Passthrough. Generally many soundbars have this feature. For Eg. let's say Apple TV connects to the Soundbar then the Soundbar retains the audio signals and passes to the video signal via another HDMI Cable which connects the Soundbar to the Projector or TV. This way you won't need a switcher. Though ensure you sound system has the HDMI passthrough option.
