The rival boost seems too arbitrary to quantify. A half breed boost seems like it would be stronger honestly, especially since this fusion would have its potential unlocked.
Alongside that, if we're to assume theres a rival boost, there should be boosts involving how willing the participants are, and compatibility. And i feel like a loving familial relationship should be stronger than a rivalry. Plus official guides are meaningless imo, pokemon releases loads of them, and they often contain huge errors. Also did it ever come from akira toriyamas own words that a rival boost even exists? It's all tenuous and honestly obnoxious of a talking point

There's no official fusion name, it's just the name most of the fanbase agreed on the most. The only official name we have is for the metamoran EX fusion in "Dragon Ball Fusion" which is called Kuhan

I’m sick of you “fans” always trying to say Gohan was too cocky when he fought Boo and that’s why he lost 🤦♂️ he was confident but that’s not why he lost; he lost bcuz Boo blew himself up, hid to buy time, and then coaxed the kids into fusing. Gohan told them not to but they didn’t listen 🤦♂️
Gohan was far stronger than buu but he kept toying with him if he was serious buu would be dead before he exploded himself

I feel like people go about it all wrong. The way to go about it is “What if Gohan embraced his hybrid potential”.
I think gokhan would be stronger than vegito sense goku and gohan are blood relative and if there is a blood relative boost it might be stronger than rivalry boost
Honestly, I see Gokan sending Buu’s candy beam back at him like evil Buu, and eating it. Vegito did not do that, but his goal was to remove the absorbed beings, Gokan was willing to destroy them and revive them.
I could see eating Buu affecting them both. Not turning them into a Majin-like 21, but gaining the abilities of Buu, like Uub. Once they split the god ki and the grand supreme Kai traits will also split. Letting Gohan keep the god ki of the grand supreme Kai, but Goku would have the knowledge, experience, and techniques of the grand supreme Kai, with some of Buu’s mixed in, I could see him keeping the healing factor once the SSJG ritual is done on Goku.

Yo smugstick i have an idea for a video a cell saga rewrite while it was supposed to be Gohan's arc but dude didn't get to participate in 1 fight so here's some ideas
1. Have Gohan and the z warriors train with king Kai in the one and a half year time skip as king Kai was keeping a close eye on the events on namek and knows Frieza survived but isn't sure about Goku they can also learn kaioken and spirit bomb and Vegeta can finally train under king Kai they also do gravity training
2. Instead of future trunks it's the z fighters that take on the Frieza force and eventually Gohan and Vegeta are against Cold and Frieza respectively it's here both of them simultaneously go super saiyan Vegeta to avenge his pride and Gohan to save earth as both are being pushed back by the tyrannical duo's death bomb they go ssj together and while Gohan finishes cold Vegeta killa Frieza just then a soldier tries to surprise attack them but is stopped a mysterious ssj from the future Future trunks here he should've told his identity to Gohan this would further his growth meeting his own disciple from the future
3. When preparing for the Androids it's Gohan's idea to train with goku's old masters and friends so he trains with roshi korin kami tien yamaha krillin and chiaotzu and at the end his gii is now new with the turtle school top the crane school bottom and the demon logo so in the fight against 19 and 20 Goku defeats 19 while 20 realises he's out of his league and goes to activate 17 and 18 by this time Vegeta and trunks arrive they give Chase 17 and 18 kill 20 and awaken 16 the z fighters arrive and here Gohan actually fights and does quite good due to his more varied training and having ssj early this causes the Androids to make a subtle remark that he reminds them of themselves in their younger yours before jero meanwhile 16 is pummeling Goku and the z fighters realise they need to escape with tien krillin Gohan and trunks using solar flare and they go to the lookout the safest place but as they reach the heart virus strikes incapacitating Goku luckily they have the medicine but now Gohan doesn't have a partner to accompany him in the room of spirit and time so Vegeta and trunks go in first but it only takes them around 8 to 9 months as here Vegeta is a bit more mellow and calm as he is roughly as strong if not stronger than Goku it took him 2 months to get grade 2 so in the rest of the time both he and trunks are easily able to get grade 3 and 4 but when they exit it's already too late as piccolo's fight with cell his escape and encounter and subsequent absorption of 17 went well so krillin and others went to gero's lab destroyed it along with present cell got the blueprint for the Androids but they are worthless and Goku is in no condition to go to the hyperbolic time chamber so trunks goes with Gohan telling him stories of his heroic future self Gohan also gets grade 2 3 and 4 it only takes them around 6 months but by this time cell is now perfect and holding a tournament don't worry he left tien and piccolo alive as well as Vegeta to announce the cell games the z fighters contact king Kai who contacts the namekians and they keep their dragon balls ready as without goku's instant transmission there is no dende eventually 10 days pass they go to the cell games unfortunately Goku isn't up yet so they go without him their morale low first to fight is Mr Satan he gets 1 shot Vegeta puts some resistance but it isn't much trunks is also unable to stop cell and cell begins to get bored wondering if it was a great idea to begin with Gohan decides to challenge him and does quite well he has many mentors and thus better fighting skills however he is scared should be fail he'll doom everyone but as he's on the losing end he hears the voice of the one man he wanted to his father Goku now awake motivates him saying " son the reason i fight for is others happiness and protection I don't want them to lose anything and this is why you should fight as well " however as Gohan is listening cell goes in for a surprise attack but it's blocked by 16 at the cost of his own body his head's about to be crushed by cells foot but Gohan grabs the foot and throws cell away he glares dagger into cells soul and cell says " never again will i be a damsel in distress I won't be saved but will be the saviour he then goes ssj2 and woops cell but doesn't torture him at the end he requests everyone to give their energy and kills cell with a spirit bomb but 17 and 18 aren't destroyed this proves they are innocent and are allowed to leave but not before 18 kisses krillin later the namekian dragon balls are used to revive anyone killed by the Androids including those killed by 19 20 and cell and dende is sent as the new guardian trunks returns home and Goku lives
Overall I feel Gohan training with Goku would be great for his development as it allows for him to learn valuable lessons and realising he doesn't have to devote his time solely to studies like his current self or fighting like his future self this allows him to balance studies and work much earlier and he continues to traine even in the future
My head cannon was always that the rivalry gave them far greater combat skills, nothing about increasing their power

I've finally found the perfect name for a Goku and Gohan fusion. His name is is Khan. He takes the K from Kakarot and the Han from Gohan. I never wanted to say this name for years because of Shao Khan from Mortal Kombat but it definitely fits better than all other names
I feel like this fusion would go insane from having the memories and feelings of both Goku and Gohan, father and son, as a lot of those memories and feelings would be conflicting…

Finally a correct use of Orange Piccolo.
Piccolo 1. must return to his roots on Namek (the trees from Namek show up on his back during the transformation), 2. he has to come full circle (also shown on his back when he transforms, as the dragon literally makes a circle); Training & dying for Gohan, helping care for Pan, and having something to defend, 3. He has to have combined with Kami; Kami's power created Shenron, and that's very important. "All you have plus a little extra" isn't just the dragon giving a bonus. He's returning the power that was used to create him, to his creator. He refers to Piccolo as Kami, after all.
The instant Orange Piccolo became a thing and people started using it wrong, I was sooooo done.
