That is what I meant by my comment, having this in mind, the fact that between Sigrid and Aurora they have a very large share of the revenue that is cashed-in into the industry as a whole is really impressive.
Are you Norweigian and know that firsthand? I have no idea how but the Norway music scene is, but they're the only two from Norway I know that are popular in the West - are they actually a huge part of the Norweigian music scene?
@@Nanancay Hi Nancy, I am sure if you googled it you'll figure out how big she is in Europe. its not a secret, she is pretty big in Norway, Scandinavia and the rest of continental Europe. She is also pretty famous in Britain. In the US she is more seen as an art house- Indie-Music star, like Bjork or Of Monsters and men. There are a lot of Scandinavian (and Norwegian) artists popular in English speaking countries (Norway is in The west, just not all musicians in western countries speak English or participate in the English speaking music market. Silja Sol, Aurora's Backup singer, just left Aurora's band and she said she was going to concentrate singing for the Norwegian-Speaking music Market). here is a good intro to Norwegian bands: www.lifeinnorway.net/famous-norwegian-bands/
I discovered Aurora’s music 2 months ago (‘Murder 5,4,3,3,1’ Nobel Peace Prize concert 2015). I’ve listened to just about all her music here on UA-cam. Aurora is now my favorite female singer! Angelic, haunting, ethereal heavenly beautiful singing voice she has. Her moving her hands and body while in synchronization with her singing reminds me of a ballerina 🩰 of song 🎤🎶🩰 Portland Oregon USA 🇺🇸
Aurora on if she's an extrovert or introvert..... *_"I'm very much an (extreme) introvert. I prefer to not be bothered...by people...ever...in my life."_* Her intense introversion is one of the things I love most about her...because I'm 100% the same. I'm also not shy at all, but I absolutely LOVE being alone. Being with people _can_ be ok...in short spurts. But being alone is always wonderful. My own mind is endlessly interesting to me....and I never ever get bored. Boredom is something I only ever experience in social situations. But most famous people or highly successful musicians and artists.....are often hyper extroverted. And I just don't relate to that at all. Introversion among people like that is so incredibly rare. But Aurora is a glaring exception. I especially love how she's so clearly not claiming to be an introvert to seem cool or edgy or creative. She's clearly a legit genuine deeply introverted person. And that's nothing to be ashamed of.....indeed, personally I'm so grateful I'm an introvert. Being an extrovert seems....exhausting to me.
by the way, if you see the FADER ua-cam.com/video/4vdBorK67tk/v-deo.html documentary on Aurora, when she and her girlfriends are singing warrior acapella (at minute 4:11, 4:28), Sigrid is sitting and singing on the floor on the right hand side. These two know each and were friends from A long long long time.
As an American.....I'm so jealous of Norway's _light,_ among many things. I live in NE Tennessee....and right now, it's just HOT. Hot, humid, sticky, lethargic....under a hazy bright sun. I need to move more north. Especially considering future climate issues. There's nothing I love more than the light early in the morning, in the winter, after a heavy snowfall the night before. That hyper crisp pure omnidirectional diffuse white light. I need that light in my life way more than it is. Living here....I get that light, if I'm lucky, 1 week out of the year. That will not cut it....
A good method for writing lyrics is to just write about anything as fast as possible for 3 minutes non-stop. Ignore your inner critic and filter and just see what comes out. It really brings out what you are thinking about. Organize it later into a song. It works every time. It gets you started at least. No more writer’s block!

Aurora: She can whistle. I think that's really nice. :-D
It's a singing style. The extreme high notes that Mariah Carey can do are called 'whistle tones.' It's a whole step above 'falsetto.'

They should do covers of one of the other one´s songs. That would be fun.
Between introvert and extrovert is called ambivert.
Is called "normal person"

Mariah Carey can whistle? Wow, good to know! :)
Sigrid isn´t introvert, she was akward because sometimes Aurora go into a monologue or acts like a sweet grandma.
is her hair more blonde or its just me
I think she's toning it with that purple dye that turns it silver. A little refresher on her look for the pre album release
I think once she said she is naturally very blonde but she washes her hair with a purple shampoo and her hair turn silver!
So we don't know the term ambivert yet
