Why do people have to try and destroy people’s success, do they have nothing else to do, boring. He deserved his success, hard work, integrity and passion have rewarded him . Well done.
It’s an eye opener and honour to hear about the life of Paul Potts. Not only does he share his beautiful voice with the world but he takes advantage of his public position to inform people of charities that need support. I have a tremendous respect for this special human being. He’s a class act!
I met Paul at a charity event, he was the only celebrity who turned up. I found him to be a friendly and personable guy. I wish him all the success, he deserves it❤
So he was already recognized as a top performer, had many many high end performances behind him. And then goes on an (Amature) talent show! And then becomes rich and more successful. Clever man, wish him luck
I took my mum to see Paul Potts before she died she was blind since the age of 3 and she loved it. If it was good enough for her it was good enough for me.
His success allowed him to share his blessings to those who may not have the same opportunities he did! Well done, Mr. Potts. You & Jules remain humble, generous & and loving couple in the face of success, fame & all the pros & cons that come with it 🎉🙏🏼⭐️🎶
God Bless ❤️ Paul Potts. What an exquisite voice an exceptional talent and a kind gentle wonderful man helping others in need. A truly inspirational man. Wonderful ❤❤❤❤
Paul didn't try to emulate the Posh accent that a great deal of performers and business people -- with humble backgrounds -- make an effort to assume. He is Indeed authentic, natural and unpretentious. I truly love his different DVDs
I watched his initial performance on BGT and knew he was on the road to greater success. and deservedly so continued life and happyness.and success in all your endeavors Paul. God speed. ECF
Thank you for posting this, it’s a shame you didn’t feature Paul singing Nessus Dorma in full, I have the movie”One Chance” and enjoy watching it time and again.
rougly 8 years ago, he sang at the Korean's "Immortal Songs 2" singing competition show. He was highly respected and loved by the Korean singers and audiences.
I often listened to him merely thinking he had a great voice and how much I envied him that and thought that way for years then a few years ago I came across a clip of him singing in the Kiev theatre singing La Prima Volta. It was then I realized that this man went beyond just a great voice and elevated him to a standard few others will ever meet. My favourite male singer is Bocelli but Potts' talent has pushed him onto that same pedestal IMHO. A lovely bloke with the most beautiful vocal cords who has worked hard to please his fans and never failed to do so. What a voice!
I was about to write. " good luck and all the very Best for the future." I now see this would be fruitless as he has no need for either luck nor best wishes. He and his family are going to have a wonderful and happy, happy life. CONGRATULATIONS Mr Potts 👏 🙌 🎉BRAVO👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Pictures pertaining to his fantastic tournée in Tokyo with the famous Toyoda Foundation Orchestra were shown here. Mistakenly stating that such Performances had taken place in South-Korea. A Country in which he is Indeed highly popular. However, the impact of his Performances in Japan shouldn't be neglected. Thank you for this great video.
I live about a twelve minutes walk from Paul Potts house. Paul and his wife were in the audience when my friend and I were doing a show .so I sang in from of him ,I think he enjoyed the gig . It was one of those unusual things that happen now and then . Glad he has done so well for himself,he. seems a very down to earth kind of guy,and like myself still live in Baglan Port Talbot .👍
I'm so glad nothing was taken away from him on his win with "Britisn Got Talent-" The man is very talented, why do people have to put others down, istead of congratulating him. Some people are so petty, I think they are unhappy so they don't want anybody else to be happy.
Im glad to know that he is a good man not just a talented one. I only wish my mom had lived to hear him sing as she would have loved his beautiful voice.
I have nothing but admiration for Paul Potts. His voice may be mediocre when compared to the tenor greats but his determination, stickability, humility and consideration for the well-being of those less fortunate is worthy of anybody's praise. If only the commentary of this film were half as attractive. Until artificial intelligence technology is developed which produces accurate pronunciation, please, please have a human being do the commentary.
@@elizabethmorley7416 Of course you have missed knowing of the level of my expertise; how could you. Does "second rank" suit you better? I am sure that Mr Potts would be the first to agree that his name should not be uttered in the same breath as Pavarotti, Florez, Caruso, Bjorling, Domingo or Carreras, to mention but a few. I don't understand why you are so incensed, everything else I said was complimentary to Mr Potts and I wish him nothing but continued success.
I am far from incensed, more surprised by your use of the word mediocre. Even compared to the greatest tenors, I still don’t feel that your description of his voice fits.
@@williamgilchrist1364 although i agree with you in your comparisons. Voices like mario lanza. Pauls voice is smooth and has character. His voice lends its self to songs outside of opera all in all a good voice i like to listen to him
I am so glad he decided to bite the bullet andcgo through with his audition. He unknowingly opened the door for a vast amount of people to hear opera from an everyday humble man. He brings a lot of joy to the world.
I have no idea why a person's looks has ANY bearing on one's talent. Have we become that superficial?... I think so. So pleased to see he's doing well. God bless.❤
This gentleman did 2 great fantastic things, he never gave up on his dream and told his great story of his life, he gave the actors work to make his story, when they showed his film Once chance on TV I saw it 15 times in a week , because I loved the film.
How can I trust want the narrator says when they can not pronounce the names of the operas mentioned. Doesn’t detract from the singer’s beautiful voice.
@@melvynparkerson9984actually you couldn’t be more wrong! I have great admiration for Paul Potts, there’s nothing snobbish about expecting the narrator or creator of a story to get the opera names correct.

Wasn't he accused of not being an amateur when he went on BGT. I did like the movie they made about his life I remember in the movie he went to a school where Pavarotti didn't think much of him. People said Opera in general where snooty people didn't like anyone performing it except in an Opera setting funny after Paul Pavarotti and others started to perform in non-classical music settings or Operas.
The accusation was unfounded. He did have some training, but had never been paid to sing. He was an amateur. Nobody can sing opera without some training. For that matter, most of the singers on the program had training of some dort.
