Julian Villaraus I did the same on the Escape From Gringotts ride, going in the singles line again and again to bypass the long family line. But the Universal staff were really rude to me by sometimes not allowing me on even when there were single spaces only available on the ride and I was at the front of the queue. Plus some arrogant white American from the family line didn't like it that I went on several times before him, so he made some negative comment and looks. It really soured my view of Americans and it looks like the stereotype of the arrogant white American is true. Disappointing how arrogant and jealous some Americans can get. Anyway, i digress. One thing I absolutely love about this ride apart from everything else are the villains. They are so incredibly fun to watch, with their witty one liners and cheesy costumes, it's like it came straight from the comic books.
I'm a huge Spider-Man fan and I love the ride a lot. When I went on the ride, I felt like I was actually helping Spider-Man taking down his foes. It was awesome!
Spider-Mans quips give me genuine happiness every time I’m on. This ride is a must for a couple reasons: 1. The intensity of it all is exhilarating and fun 2. The realism and whole blend of atmosphere it gives you while on it... it doesn’t break the illusion what’s so ever at any moment 3. That ending fall is one of the most intense falling sequences I’ve ever had the luxury in experiencing... the cart jolts 190lb men around it’s not a joke lolll
Are we gonna ignore the fact that the voice actor for Hydro-Man (Bill Fagerbakke) also provides the voice for Patrick Star, and the voice actor for Doctor Octopus (Rodger Bumpass) also provides the voice for Squidward Tentacles!? :D Edit 2024: this is still a masterpiece of an attraction!
Candi Milo voiced Scream despite the fact I didn’t hear her speak unless it was either her or Hobgoblin who said. “YOU MISSED!! Blast ‘em again!” I know Hobgoblin wasn’t present when Scream and Dr Octopus attack the riders.
Doctor Octopus is a moron. Had he just let Scream tear us to pieces, they could have all ganged up on Spidey and probably succeeded in their plans. Thank goodness for Doc Ock's selfishness, huh? :P
But that has uses. As you saw in the ride, he was using things too heavy for him to carry himself to try to smash you. It can also be used for easy robberies. There was absolutely no reason for him to hold back Scream outside of "but I wanna do it!!!"
Thaddeus Ordonez universal would never in a million years get rid of one of the most popular ride at their park, they will never get rid of this ride it's to popular
Thaddeus Ordonez they won't ever get rid of the Spider-Man ride never it's one of their best rides that everyone goes on, it's one of their big ticket rides and it never has any malfunctions even if it does very rarely so there's no need to take it down, and those rides you mentioned, bttf was taken down to make Simpsons, ghostbusters idk where that went, Kong burned down, and jaws was torn down because the water bill was expensive and it kept breaking down. But still Spider-Man wont be taken down ever
You know what else could be a good copy + paste ride of this? Batman. Basically you're one of the volunteers to test out Wayne Tech's new transportation vehicle, and shit goes down when Batman's rouges hijack it. The queue is of course Wayne ENT with all of their gadgets and stuff. Screens would playing messages from Lucious about how the vehicles work, with some messages from Bruce Wayne (who better be played by the one true Batman, Kevin Conroy), then interrupted by the Joker with the help of Nigma via his hacking skills. Then proceeds to protect the guests by eliminating threats with the help of Robin, Batgirl, and the Batmobile. While being chased through Gotham you'll see places like Arkham Asylum, Ace Chemicals, Iceberg Lounge, etc. Hopefully they would put it in Universal instead of one of the Six Flag locations. I mean, in the gift shop for the Terminator 3-D show, they had a lot of DC merch. Anyway, this would be awesome if it happened.
QuesoGr7 that's actually a great idea! And in the hydro man sequence batman could use his anti freeze suit against mr freeze, making his ice melt and when Doctor octopus uses his float gun it could be superman holding the car, than killer croc throwing a car at superman, making him drop it making you land!
Universal originally wanted Marvel Super Hero Island to be a Batman themed land based off the Burton movies, but they weren't able to get a deal with Warner Bros and Marvel was in desperate need of cash in the late 90s so they sold their license to them instead.
As cool as it would be, six flags would be the one to make it, and they don't put a whole lot of effort into their 3D/4D rides. I live near the gurnee six flags and they came out with a 4d justice league ride and it is awful.
I have been to this attraction 3 times now ( 2005, 2016 , 2019 ) at USJ ( Japan ). First time in 2005 as a 15 yr old. FFW to my 20’s in 2016, 2019 I still love it. It is still amazing and so glad that it is still around as I have been a huge spidey fan since I was a kid.
Also, since Stan Lee loves to put his face in everything Marvel, there should be a thing where every character's face get's replaced with Stan Lee's every year on April 1st. No Spiderman, Doc Oc, or Hobgolin. Just Stan Lee....all day
Marvel made the deal with Universal for this ride and everything else Marvel in the park 10 years before Disney bought the company so Disney is forced to honor that contract.
Again, not in Orlando. Marvel's contract to Universal prohibits Disney using the Marvel name for rides in the Orlando area. There will probably be some kind of re-negotiation in the future, but this is why the Guardians of the Galaxy ride is taking over the Tower of Terror in California, not the Orlando one.

Wow! This is more exciting than the Transformers The Ride. Even if they use the same methods! (Travel on a car and seeing things on big 3D screens with some actual sets from those videos.[Statue of Liberty and such.])
I remember riding this and joking after with my roommate who I went with like "OH MY GOSH! Spider Man complimented my shades!" I still do that around 2 years later 😂
This ride tops Transformers by a long shot. The movements are far smoother, music and sound is superior, and 3D effects are amazing. As fat as Transformers goes, the only stunning bit is going through Devastator. Encountering each of the Sinister Syndicate was great, with every member having such an immersive effect. Electro's cable shock was genius, Scream's up-close was great, Hob Goblin's fireball was incredible, Hydroman's water spray was effective but to be expected, and Doc Ock's levitating effect was genius and incredibly immersive. So glad I got Express tickets!
Everything about this ride is perfect! The screens are so beautiful to the eye, the vehicles sync up so well with the screens, the booms and practicals are perfect, the voice acting is fun, and so is the music! 10/10 :)
I remember on my birthday as a kid, My parents told me we were driving to school but instead, they drove past my school and told me we were headed to universal, I always went to the superhero rides first...those were the good days.
The music on this ride is SO GOOD I wish I could have it on my phone to listen to sometimes! I mean I get SO PUMPED when the Spider-Man theme plays throughout!

went on that bugger three times. Twice on my own and then dragged my dad on. Best ride in all Florida theme parks in my opinion. It seems so real and I love the Stan Lee cameos.
Waited 40 minutes to get on the skull island ride for the first time thinking it's gonna be a long awesome ride only to find out it was a short and boring let down. After I left the ride i was just sad because of all the wasted time but then I walked over to the new refurbished Spider-Man ride and waited a good 5 minutes and ended up experiencing one of my new favourite rides. I even went on it twice it was so epic!
Probably one of the greatest theme park attractions ever built, the hybrid between real time sets and screens is just unbelievable.

Theme park ever. (Cedar Point's the best amusement park IMO)
This ride made Spider-Man my favorite super hero back in 2004.
Same thing for me in 2012 :-)

Bro This Ride Was Freaking Amazing Every time I Go To Universal Islands Of Adventure I Always Ride This Ride First Thing When I Get There And This Ride Is A All Time Classic Ride For Me And It Was My Childhood And Because I Always Ride This Ride I Know Every Single Line For This Ride And Whenever I Do Ride This I Repeat The Lines When It Get's To The Part Like When Hobgoblin Was Like "Trick Or Treat Smell My Feet Time To Throw You Off The Street Ha Ha Ha Ha" The Spider Man Will Always Be My All Time Favorite Rides At Universal And I Will Continue To Love This Ride Even If I Get Old This Ride Will Always Be A Childhood Favorite Of Mine And I Will Show My Future Kids What Real Childhood Looks Like At Universal Studios And Don't Even Get Me Started On The Music For This Ride The Music For This Ride Was So Amazing And During My Childhood When I Rode This Ride And Heard The Music I Felt Like If I Was Actually Spider Man And It Felt Amazing It Was One Of The Most Amazing Feeling I Ever Had
loved this ride
So do I.
Me too. My favorite dark ride ever. (And one of my two favorite rides at Universal Orlando, alongside The Simpsons Ride)
went on that bugger three times. Twice on my own and then dragged my dad on. Best ride in all Florida theme parks in my opinion. It seems so real and I love the Stan Lee cameos.
1:13 me and the boys at universal
this gives me the chills just watching this. I want to go to both parks again . I've been 4 times in my life. I love the thrill of these fun rides

3:14 it sounded like he said your teeth gonna die.
It's "you're takin a dive"
I mean, he has a point. I haven’t brushed in 6 dog years.
Chris Morales i thought he said your kids gonna die
*“Y O U ‘ R E T H I N K I N ‘ A D I E”*
May be the best ride EVER! Definitely in the top 5.
Apparently you haven’t ridden ‘ Harry Potter Escape from Gringotts ’ Or ‘ Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey ’
R.I.P. Stan Lee
Waited 40 minutes to get on the skull island ride for the first time thinking it's gonna be a long awesome ride only to find out it was a short and boring let down. After I left the ride i was just sad because of all the wasted time but
then I walked over to the new refurbished Spider-Man ride and waited a good 5 minutes and ended up experiencing one of my new favourite rides. I even went on it twice it was so epic!
0:46 Aww was that Stab Lee...? 😔😔😔😢😢😢
Dont you mean stan lee? And yea.
And the end of the ride he make a cameo! When the car falls in the web
I watch this everyday and never get bored of it
2:48 doctor Octopus:have a nice trip!
Me:you idiot it's have a nice fight!
Your puns are worst than your haircut!
Classicanimationfan 687 your spelling is worse than your name
This ride is crazy. And I like it.
Fun fact: the guy who voices dr octopus is the same guy who voices squidward
Jedwint yeah his name is Rodger Bumpass
And the voice actor behind Hydroman also does Patrick Star (Bill Fagerbakke).
Who’s here after watching the POV of Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure?
This ride is far better than the crap we got at DCA
I was there ! It was the best part of the travel for me . Unbelievable real experience! Can't wait to go again!
1:27 whos that ?
Scream
Thx 👍
Amazing. Just wish the Jurassic park rides were never forgetting like this.
Anyone else here Stan Lee's voice.....

The drop at the end was awesome. Great ride. Best ride when I was there a few years ago
It used to be about "Riding the movies" now it's just watch a movie.
Uh, this is a ride Similar to the Simpsons or The Mummy at Universal Studios
rcb616 Actually, The Simpsons Ride IS just watching a film.
TheBitBlock Better than Frozen
TheBitBlock What are you talking about? This is one of the best rides they've ever had.
Tugg Speedman Exactly!
