    I love intermittent fasting and have been eating mostly OMAD since June 2020. Even though OMAD is my standard, I love being flexible in my schedule and will at times have variations to keep things interesting. I have lost weight, got into a healthy weight range for my height and maintained the weight loss for over 3 years! I love to share the flexibility and peace offered through intermittent fasting.

    I can't wait for the next 72 hour community fast! I drink flavored LMT during my 72 hr fast and don't feel hungry, but I DO NOT drink diet drinks because those would make me hungry. Thanks for all that you share with us!

    Gj! I hit a flavored water late night before bed if the craving is insistent on longer ones. It doesnt matter too much on hunger cause bed is soon and it makes my brain think i had something. 😊 I am glad I am not the only one making spaghetti on fast days lol. Working up to 72 and you give me inspiration. Thanks!

    I do not cook cube steak well. What’s the secret!? It comes out tough even in the crock pot. Thanks for the vid

    I love your videos! I’m currently doing the carnivore diet. Actually I’ve been doing it for a year and a half. But I love your approach, and you have such a sweet family. I’d like to be able to incorporate fasting in my carnivore Lifestyle, but have not done that as of yet. I live vicariously through you😊

    Just a suggestion.. when I make my jalapeño poppers I also put 1 can of white chicken organic.. and pop all ingredients in the processor and then pop them in the poppers.. it’s so good and adds a lot of protein 😊

    When deciding what to drink during fasting, I do think there is a difference between drinks that are merely flavored and those that are artificially sweetened. Flavored LMNT, diet Pepsi, all those things have artificial sweeteners which studies show do affect your insulin. I do not think that mere flavors necessarily do. Drinks that are flavored, but not sweetened are things like herbal teas, flavored sparkling water etc. I know Gin Stevens does not allow things like herbal tea or flavored sparkling water, but since you like to experiment, you may want to look at if flavored drinks affect you the same way that artficially-sweetened drinks do.

    Hi Jackie! This was a very helpful and enlightening video. I found it helpful and fascinating to hear your tips on cooking and also the inclusion of flavors. I had been allowing flavors in fasts and just recently am working towards a cleaner fast. It was helpful to hear that you prefer to not allow flavors. I find I get intermittent nausea during fasts which causes me to want to chew gum, or have the flavors.

    YES! Fajita steak from Walmart!! Now I know what you use to make that delicious looking air fried steak!! My daughter, grandson and I just left Walmart but I'll be looking for it next time we are there!

    Hello from East Tx===Go Carnivore&Fasting for LIFE!!!===Good for your, a 72hrs. I do a 72 hr fast two time a month and 5 Day every month. I Do still have 2 cups of 1/2 caf. during Fast

      Some people say that diets pop don't contain sugar, contain artificial sweeteners. For that reason these drink don't spike your insuline. For me that it's nonsense. Also these drinks trigger your hunger. Just water with electrolytes. That's all.
